These games are much better than the other games what children plays these days, but anyway I decided to finish these games again after many years and so I did, so many memories... so many. And then I decided to try the fourth and the fifth game but... I got disappointed, these games were just meant to be 2D adventure graphics. Not any 3D computer-made graphic bullcrap.

Fellow Monkey Island lovers... have you ever noticed that Pirates of the Caribbean (the 1st one especially) is eerily like Monkey Island!?!? From the types of characters, to imagery, to well.. almost everything?

What actually really pissed my off is the scene with the pirate swinging from the ropes!! COPY!!

Turns out the writer of Pirates of the Caribbean was the same writer slotted to write the script to the MONKEY ISLAND MOVIE!! Mysteriously, Monkey Island was never made....

@jasminlaflamme Actually the game was heavily influenced by the pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland, so if it wasn't for Disney the game wouldn't exist. it was also influenced by the book ;on stranger tides;, which was adapted into the 4th pirates movie. though some scenes from the film were ripped from the game, (dog with keys and whatnot) and some plot lines and characters seem the same, i wouldn't get pissed off, just be happy that homage is being paid. at least it wasn't a crap movie
