I am 21 years old and have grown up Catholic however I have been feeling called to the LDS church! I got my answer through a very powerful experience with the Spirt I have just finished 1 Nephi in my book of Mormon and i have never been happier in my entire life! Thank you for this video!

@rren100 The biggest problem in my life right now is that my family is VERY Catholic and will not support me as a Mormon in fact I have not told anyone in my family about my conversion and It is the only reason I have not been baptized in the Church yet. lol I'm sorry for opening up like this I just dont have alot of support around me about this conversion. @Samorrye77 My family too, was very Catholic. One thing I didn't realize was how much the Lord would soften their hearts. Now, it is a non-issue. In fact, they look to me as the spiritual leader of our family and greatly respect the Church. "Trust in the Lord...and lean not unto thine own understanding." Everything will work our for those who follow the truth.

I just want to thank you for your testimony, I have had ny battles over the church for 25 years beiong the only member in my family, and to no credit to myslf, Heavenly Father gave me a gift that brought me home to the church his name is Zachary, He is my only son his testomony has never swayed (search Ron Lear on Mormon.org) this is my story of a stuborn old guy with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis.

@rren100 I want you to know the blessings Heavenly father has put in my life, I have 3 more family members that have set dates for Baptism. I am not alone with Zachary anymore. Heavenly Father is opening doors to hearts all around me. Sheila (Zacks) Mom and my companion is joining them in the lessons. I am not alone anymore my prayers are getting answered. I pray for the Holy Spirit to guide me through each day. .

This is why only the honest of heart receive answers.

If they doubt... or enter in this house with a doubtful heart, with unwillingness of heart or even a pre conceived idea as to the outcome of that prayer, in nowise will the Lord answer them. It is NO surprise to me why this brother had received an answer from the Lord... much like the answer that I had received. This witness of the spirit may only come when that unique individual is prepared to follow the Lord; no matter what the cost.

Thank you so much for this. It really helped me realize that those versus aren't just about knowing the truth of the Gospel, but anything... even struggles in our lives. I am a convert as well and went through some very hard times in the beginning. But that interpretation of those verses didn't come until now... as I was pondering where I am in my life at the moment.
