Nothing can ever replace the 757 - just look at that take-off! As whisky110 says, most of the former 757 routes are now worked by Airbus narrow-bodies
@LTF85199 "PET" refers to the unique part of the aircraft's registration mark. This particular aircraft was G-CPET, other BA 757's had similar reg's... G-CPEO, G-CPER etc etc...
What a fantastic video. I grew up with the 757, seeing the first one's (KB, KA, KC) in Ba's fleet back in 83 at the tender age of 13 with my scope. I can't belive where the time has gone.
I knew my only opportunity to see CPET in her original Negus & Negus livery would be the afternoon GLA flight as I was at work in the morning and night would ruin any chance of seeing her en route to EDI. Luckily I did see her one last time passing by Sheffield at FL170 in a crystal clear sky, I was 13 again.
Ppl I work with in this vid

@allyum
It's the air intake for the auxiliary power unit which is normally only required when the engines are off.

Hey, anybody know what that box thing is @ 7:00 at the base of the tail section? It disappeared at 7:55. Is that some sort of air intake?

Why does it say "PET" on different parts of the fuselage? I seen this on several planes

@88mroux The traditional Shuttle routes have been replaced with the Airbus A319/A320/A321, certain European routes too but with the 767 as well.
