  • hhahah my cousin.

  • Peter Posa was the very first guitar teacher for everyone who played this instrument all over the Pacific Ocean. I learned to play guitar on hearing some of his LP or 45, like The Mad Hater, This is Peter Posa, My kind of pickin'. From Tahiti, Fiji,New Hebrides (Vanuatu),New Caledonia,Salomon Islands,New Guinea,Australia,New Zealand, we can hear "the style of Peter Posa" through most of the guitarists. He influenced our musical culture in the pacific ! Thank you so much Mister Peter Posa !

  • @Mik19Kal Yess i'm totally agree ! the pacific guitar style is from him :)

I'm a 21 old wallisian, but I can measure the impact of his music, especially on the 70's 80's pacific music.

    Kindly.

  • Thank U so much 4 sharing Peter Posa's music,Merci beaucoup pour le partage

  • a great guitarist gives the shadows a run for their money..would love to see flight of the bumblebee clip..

  • A walk down memory lane. Is there a Peter Posa fan club..perhaps in New

    Zealand??

  • I was still in high school during the 60's in

the Fiji Islands, when I first heard of Peter

Posa and his style of guitar music. I still

remember the day he visited Suva the Capital to promote his LP's. This particular street called Cumming Street had to be closed because of the huge crowd that came from near and far just to

see Peter Posa in person. God Bless You

    Peter.

Foerever a fan. George Sale Asuega.

  • He resides in Te Awamutu, New Zealand and yes.....still plays like this even on acoustic guitar, brilliant man, should be "SIR"Peter Posa

  • I grew up living 30 miles from TeAwamutu.I wore my sisters records out listening to Peter Posa.I play alittle myself now but not near as beautifully as Peter.

  • Yes Peter is still alive and kicking, bumped into him 5 years back :)

  • Saw him at a Gore Gold Guitar Show in the late 80s I loved his entrance

  • This is great, when I was living in Fiji Islands I used to get his records. I have 45's and LP's that I brought since I moved to USA. Don't know if he is alive?
