Its very easy to dismiss someone by telling them YOU dont understand me, making them feel somewhat inadequate or stupid. While usually in those cases, where this kind of pre-emptive dismissal is used, its the counterparts comment/argument which was rather poorly elaborated and justified.
I think you have to read Kyo's quotes in this video more carefully.
That "loving" people in the audience, they are the reason of his self-harming. What they see is the show and not Kyo. Saying then you love someone when you are cheering for him to suffer is hypocrisy.
I'm not saying I understand Kyo, but I think I know enough to understand this.
With that being said "Can't he see how much they love and adore him?" I'm sure this has crossed his mind but really,how many fans actually see kyo for him? How many can actually say they know him? People are in love with the idea of him,and im sure he see's that.
It hurts when a person says they love you,but they themselves don't know the meaning of the word.

Those words are very important to me because every time my parents say, 'It's an act, he's doing it for fame', I look at those words and I just have to believe. Maybe I'm crazy for believing someone I've never met over my own parents but to me, this is as real as it gets.
