@giacblanc I just saw Peter Murphy live in Houston at Numbers Nightclub 3/19/11, and after seeing him UP close and personal (WHAT AN HONOR IT WAS) he does not have that thing on his nose anymore. He looked absolutely wonderful and put on an AMAZING amazing show. ALSO! He is my first show I've EVER EVER been too and I'm 26!!! About damn time huh? LOL He was GREAT! DAMMIT! My ears are still ringing!

Anyone with the least vanity could have it removed cheaply He has said he will always be beautiful and he will because his music has always been spiritual/mystical in content starting with BH.. His loss of looks is not depressing pretty unique in show biz..

Yes, Peter you WERE a very DECORATIVE male when you were in your 20's, no doubt!!! However, that's nothing but a fucking MEMORY from back when DINOSAURS roamed the EARTH!!!... You were INCREDIBLY GORGEOUS back then... so what HAPPENED to you???!!!!....I'm leaving right now to go look at your 20 something AVATAR back in '81/'82!!!...

I apologize. I did not want to hurt anyone. I am a lover of music, regardless of how someone looks. I had the opportunity to touch this man on several previous gigs. I think that cigarettes are not even broke his voice. what he represents with his character and work means much more than his age. As for the reputation of a rock star...I call all the musicians stars and I just think he is a star. true one.
