  • Thank you for sharing this video..I've been looking for videos of when you can start bending over past a 90 degree angle?Keep up the great work..tomorrow I get released from Home Health Care..Looking forward to the spring comes,I'm a hiker and live up in the Mountains..Thanks for giving us hope..

  • i had total hip surgery 7 weeks now doing quiet well walking with out crutches now for 2 weeks but only prob i have is my knee tends to give me jip now and then . im 31 yr old male and feel great for not having the pain which u will know is very horrible

  • It's been over a year so far - I reached a plateau around 19 weeks, with a much slower recovery after that point. The pain from the hip is gone, but reconditioning the muscles was a bit arduous (balance problems, etc).

Canyon - are you scheduled for surgery? and Tripod: how is your recovery so far? Everyone's recovery is very different - give yourself time to heal and you will see great results. Good luck to you both!

  • You certainly recovered very quickly and I am very pleased for you but I'd like to say that I think you are far from the norm...

I am five weeks post-op and I still can't put my full weight on my operated leg.

  • I just had hip surgery going on 6 weeks. Doing OK, but still with a cane. I can walk with out it, but trying to be cautious. Just wondering how are you doing with your operation so far? I'm a 41 yo male.

  • Thank you very much for posting your recovery. I really would like the surgery but am very nervous. It has been very helpful.
