  • How low could you rate them?

  • bad review homie

  • Usually, the main event segment of Impact gets crappy ratings. Furthermore, Sting main eventing four BFG's in a row would be kind of like Hulk Hogan main eventing four WM's in a row in the 21st century. It's not fair to the guys who are in the prime of their careers. TNA should be doing a better job of building up the younger talent.

  • The highlight of the PPV was Styles winning the title. Unexpected, and left you with a smile as the show ended.

  • unfotunately the ending got spoiled for me

  • I think Taz's commentry with Tenay is awful and incredibly annoying...Id go as far as saying Taz was the 2nd WORST thing about the PPv apart from Lashley other than that I thought this PPv was pretty damn cool!

  • OMG WTF you dont know what your talking bout you roh fanboy i give this an 8 it was better than breaking point and wwe is stale and has 14 ppvs are year thats to many and 3 hell in a cell matches is overkill not lethal lockdown aj styles won thats exciting wwe keep all the over 40s in main event and that fucker cena bobby lashley match was worst he should piss off to mma forever talor wilde and sarita won which was cool tna is better and try new things wwe is fucking stagnent pg shit.

  • u are a fool. How are you going to rate the main even in this ppv lower than fucking Orton matches which u rate 4

  • This is a little off the subject, but I'm boycotting Raw next week. Al Sharpton is a worthless, race-baiting piece of shit, and I refuse to watch him for two hours.

  • Haha, Aren't you a cop?

  • Ratings were down for Raw with Sharpton hosting. I'm guessing that a lot of people felt the same way that I did.

  • Suicide and Pope had a match on impact right before the ppv

  • Someone also needs to notify Vince Russo that it's not 1998 anymore. Enough with the hardcore garbage and tasers. Fans aren't impressed by that crap anymore. BTW, the fans were often silent during the No Surrender main event.

  • I will boycott him to!!! ROHstyles is way better!!!

Truth slayer is so dam negative!!!

  • You're just so negative man. Always finding reasons to be bitter and negative. It's turning people off, like me.

  • Yeah i sue to subscribe to him but i eventually unsubscribed because it's rare he has anything good to say about any ppv. 95% of his reviews are not even worth watching anymore.

  • I agree. I think we should boycott him. He's just so fucking negative!

  • You know TruthSlayer, you're a fucking idiot man. Sorry but enough's enough. You rate almost EVERY TNA PPV 7 and under. Give the company some god damn credit for once!

  • None of their PPV's deserve a 7.

  • I don't like this review. Last year was not AJ's time. This year was his time and the win was good for him especially now that Sting may pass the torch 2 him.U were real negative & just looking for 2 many ways to complain. The PPV was solid. I don't think it's right for fans 2 do reviews based on stream chatting. 1st of all, u don't pay full attention n 2nd, the stream might go in n out causing u 2 lose focus. Watch it with 0 distractions.

Pope n Suicide fought on the last Impact as well.

  • This No Surrender PPV was Solid. Yes, their was issues I had with the PPV, but Solid. T

The First Match could have been more exciting, since Sarita is talented wrestler. However, it just got boring as it dragged on.

The Second Match (or Squash) was technically, a good idea, because I knew this match was going to be below average.

The 3rd Match, Daniels vs Samoa Joe, was Great Match.

The 4th Match was decent, but the Camera Angles fucked up the The Pope vs Suicide Match.

  • Read "Keller's Take" on the pwtorch website. He explains what was wrong with the PPV.

  • I thought PPV was very good.

  • I give your review 2.8657432. Lame.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....reviews.......sleepy times

  • great vid mr truth lol.i agree with everything u said.

  • Christian on ECW is meaningless because the entire brand is meaningless. The WWE obviously puts no effort or emphasis into making it a worthwhile show to check out. If they did, we'd have a hell of a lot more than 14 guys on the roster. When you have only 14 guys to work with, the well runs dry quick, and considering SD & Raw could use some filling out in places, I dont know why they dont just turn ECW into a "Superstars" type show & just move all the wrestlers to Raw & SD

  • Wrong. ECW is a very good show that continues to elevate young talent, and it usually gets a better rating than Impact. I enjoy it. These guys would get lost in the shuffle on the major brands.

  • But the WWE doesn't promote it in a way that would make me want to care. You miss ECW, you usually miss nothing, and if they get a gem on the roster like Swagger or The Harts, they just move them to Raw or SD.

Being on ECW, people view you as being "trapped" there like Punk & Morrison were. Wouldn't it be in WWE's best interest to promote it, build it up, and make it seem like something that is important when compared to Raw or SD?

  • I didn't see the PPV because of the Giants Game (we beat Big D in their new palace...woooooo!)

    But a few comments...

    - I think Sting should have won the title because we all wanted AJ to win, and I just think it would have worked better if they held off one more month for the big PPV. But I'm very happy for AJ as he deserves it & it sounded like a great moment...and Thank God the belt is no longer on Kurt "Probably going to be the next Benoit" Angle

  • I think its cool that Suicide/Dinero was added to the show because A) I'm liking the rivalry & B) its about time we have a non title X singles feud.

Beautiful People aint going to be the same without Angelina, and from what I've been told, Im right.

Im pretty much ok with everybody who went over. There were no major mistakes in who should have won.

  • Hernandez using his FoF to get added to the main event was both good & bad.

It was good in two ways: 1) Hernandez needs more grooming & thats a good way to do it & 2) It makes it seem like people who missed the PPV missed a major storyline point, and they did something we weren't expecting which is a good thing sometimes.

  • It was also bad because I fail to see why anybody would add themselves to a match in which they have only a 1/5 chance of winning?

I mean we all knew he wasn't going to do what Homicide did and steal the title from a weakened champion, but I would have had him cash in on the next Impact, making him AJ's 1st title shot and still doing the bit where EY screwed him.

  • So seem legit, and prove he's worth of being world champion.. By competing and hopefully beating the four biggest names in the company at that moment in time...

    Duh?

Not to mention it was just done to add fuel to the fire that is the Hernandez/World Elite feud.. As now they cost him a world championship match he's earned and waited on for over 6 months (at least).

  • The Giants are looking pretty damn good. You guys probably would have won the Super Bowl last year had Plaxico not gotten arrested.

  • I love it how the undercard matches far surpass the Main events. And there was more of them.

  • The main event is supposed to be the best part though.

  • The PPV was stupid. Styles shouldn't have won the title in a clusterfuck at a minor PPV. He should win the title at BFG. This makes BFG anti-climactic. From what I've heard, eventually TNgAy will only have six PPV's a year. That's a good thing because most TNgAy PPV's are pure crap.

  • I swear to god if sting wins at BFG Im gonna be so freakin pissed, AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels are my favorite wrestlers of all time, and if Sting beats him and wins AGAIN, it will be SAD

  • Hey Truthslayer, when are you going to use your partner money to fix that gap in your teeth?

  • Hey, ToothSlayer, when are you going to get a life? Never? That sucks.

  • Hey Rene, when are you going to get a boyfriend? Oh you already got one? MoralVirus?

    damn

  • Whoa, ToothSlayer. I do NOT need to know about your sick fantasies.

BTW, I know neither one of those people personally. I just like their videos. No need to get butthurt over that.

  • then STFU

  • No, you need to STFU, ToothSlayer. Stop trying to get into arguments with people on youtube, you fucking loser.

  • no u

  • aj winning world tite best thing in tna this year

  • lol but spinnerent way diffrent

  • spinnernet be better than this cracker

  • yep he much better hes aweome best wreslting guy on iwc PERIOD

  • ppv bored me i give it 5.0

  • ur stupid

  • GODDAMMIT NO What happened to the Beautiful People? The Knockout Tag Titles were MADE for them!!

  • Love got fired because of problems with getting her a work visa.

  • Oh, I see. That really sucks, I was very much looking forward to TBP holding those titles in the future

  • ajs tyles winning the world title is glorus moment for tna

  • lol the crowd was dead even for tna fans during the main event until aj won and angelina love was the beautiful people so their is no reason to even have that team

  • honestly I like TNA

I'm glad A.J Styles is the new world champion

at least they have a young guy as the world champion instead of an older guy like Kurt Angle as the champion, not that I don't like Kurt Angle, I think they should just give younger guys the title once and a while.

I am a fan of TNA and I like it more than WWE, but I respect the opinions of those who don't think the same way as me, because I know a lot of people don't like TNA

  • No offense, but why do i still watch these reviews

  • solid review as always. I thought the main event was quite good for a change. I guess it's good AJ won but I really don't think he's interesting enough as a champion to make wrestling fans care more about TNA. Is it just me or Angle finally started to put on some muscle again?

  • i dont even like tna but i saw it for free last night online..... and i must say i was impressed and all the matches were good.... you seriously did this pay per view no justice with your shitty review.... i really dont think you know what your talking about anymore...

  • Speaking of lethal lockdown, do you think WWE could do a sort of war games match with the Elimination Chamber? Like a 3 on 3? It wouldn't be technically a war games and it would still be Vince's baby.

  • you severely underrated this PPV TSlayer, thats all I can say...

  • How am I underratting it. Sorry if I didn't get excited over the fact that AJ won a title in a match that was just ok.Or that the lethal Lockdown match was just THERE. Was there good stuff on this PPV yes..was there anything GREAT no. Good stuff can be seen on TV Great stuff NEEDS to happen on PPV.

  • fuck off spinnerent liekd it if liked it who fuck r u say shit ok u underrate dmaine vent good match and letha lcodkown pretty peice of shit

  • word of advice: grammatical lessons for the mentally challenged

  • Tslay, you're a very intelligent wrestling fan and I would think that you would know a PPV shouldn't be rated exclusively on in ring quality. Besides, Lethal Lockdown, Dinero/Suicide, Joe/Daniels, and the main event were all, at the very least, good matches. Not to mention, when something as big as AJ Styles winning the world title happens, I think it warrants at least a 7.0 rating.

    Thats just my opinion.

  • Why would Hernandez cash in his Feast or Fired briefcase in a 5 way match? Does wrestling even try to make sense anymore?

  • i thought the same thing why would he cash it in...in that situation where he had a 20% chance at winning the title where he could have just did it in a singles match or in a better circumstance...just seems stupid on TNA's part they always suck at making sense of things

  • He's a badass with great confidence in his abilities. He also wants to show how much of a deserving champion he would be.

  • But why do it a month shy from Bound for Glory? He has that right to cash it in during that show, and to do it in a manner where his odds of winning are better than 20% while still being competitive.

It's a cop out decision to have the guy with a chance of going to the big show as a main event attraction to up and enter into a four way title match when he has a free ticket to BFG.

  • fuck off mroe susb then u loser wanna be geek

  • congrats on naming yourself after drugged up loser

  • Ever think he wanted to walk into BFG as champion? Cashing in at the biggest event and possibly losing hurts a character more.

  • While that's a possibility, one has to wonder about that rationale given that in the wrestling world more people remember the newly crowned champions at the big pay-per-view events rather than those who retained at those shows.

But beyond that, why even waste his slot when you had him, and Morgan, built up as the next world champs and now both are left fighting without the title being in the picture, all so Sting can be the featured event again.

  • And what is wrong with Sting in the main event? TNA have been promoting his final match for weeks. That was a given he would be in the main event. You now just noticed this? If Morgan or Hernandez was in the main event this year, people would be bitching. Just like TSlayer did. Uploads a video about the card where he bitches, and saying Sting vs AJ is not big enough. Well is Hernandez vs AJ or vs Angle, or Morgan vs Angle, vs AJ any more big? No! Title vs Career is a better choice.

  • So your defense is that people would have bitched, an assumptive argument, had either Morgan or Hernandez main evented the BFG event over Sting - someone that people HAVE BEEN complaining about seeing in the main event of every single year's BFG since his return to TNA...

Sorry, but you don't need the title to be in the mix of Sting's final match for it to mean something - case in point Flair vs. Michaels. You could have, and probably should have, gone with Angle and Morgan, what with Morgan...

  • We all remember HBK/Flair but that means nothing anymore come this fall. Anyway, Sting vs Styles Title vs career would mean more and not be a parshal copy of HBK vs Flair in a retirement match. No matter what is done, wrestling fans will find a way to bitch. Angle vs Morgan would just have been bitched on, you probably would be bitching about it as well if they went down that road. The match is booked without the title and people are bitching on it. The title would not have made it any better.

  • ...being so highly pushed, and the crowd being so adamantly behind him, praising him with chants of "Next World Champ".

What, you can't just have Sting's career send off being in the main event without the title as the focus of it? What, is Sting that big a deal, bigger than most other wrestlers to come before and after him, that his send off has to involve the company's main title?

Sting has to be the focal point of BFG for a FOURTH straight year?

  • Yeah it seems today people are so behind him. All I see is bitching about him facing Angle, little praise or faith they can do good. It is kind of ironic, that Morgan himself said there is too much negativity in wrestling by the fans. Maybe instead of wishing he would be in the main event, which he technically is, we should listen to him and be glad he'll be on the card. Sting is an icon, give him a send off that is on an iconic level. Yet every year he puts on a good to great match.

  • Kayfabe reason is that Hernandez doesnt give a crap about his odds because he KNOWS he'll win either way.

Booking reason is that Hernandez is not established enough to be world champion yet (they want to build him up more) and by using his shot like he did he still looks strong, rather than losing a 1v1 match. It also adds a lot of steam to the Hernandez vs BI fued for a blowoff at BFG where Hernandez will get his revenge.

  • Even from a kayfabe stance, it doesn't help him looking bright to simply decide in an already stacked match for the World Championship that he would want in on that particular match. Especially a month shy of the biggest show of TNA's calendar year. It just strikes as being weird.

From the booking aspect, it makes even less sense because you're making the decision to just toss him out there and finally pull his title shot out of the picture frame just a month shy of your biggest event.

  • Well from a booking standpoint, you are not going to give him the title. Why make him hold on to the title shot if he is just going to lose? Instead send him out there, make him look good and have him get cheated. Leading to him seeking revenge. Not having him run into a dead end like he was about to do in his push. Then you look at the NS main event. You had Morgan, Styles, Sting, and Angle, probably the top names in the company. He defeats them all to become champion shows he deserves it.

  • i agree with you, Taz gives a new soul to TNA commentary, but even the PPV matches was kinda forgetteble, AJ styles Winning was NOT!...i will always remember that, but on that, Styles shoul not have used the superman splash(the 450 springboard) but rather the spiral tap like when he won the NWA TNA tittle..

    -Nico

  • Good review I completely agree I wish TNA would of put the belt on Styles at Bound for Glory (Their Wrestlemania) but instead he gets the title on a shit ppv all while Bound for Glory will just focus on Sting's retirement.

  • Amen. My sentiments exactly.

  • The Beautiful People vs. Sarita and Taylor Wilde: *

    Eric Young vs. Hernandez: DUD

Samoa Joe vs. Daniels: *** 3/4

    Suicide vs.

    Pope D'Angelo Dinero: ***1/4

    Cody Deaner vs. ODB: DUD

    Kevin Nash vs. Abyss: *3/4

    Lethal Lockdown Match: ***

    Bobby Lashley vs Rhino: *

Kurt Angle vs. Matt Morgan vs. Sting vs. AJ Styles vs. Hernandez: ***

  • Yeah this ppv was pretty uneventful. But AJ Styles winning was just amazing too me. I marked out like such a bitch when AJ won! Also, can someone please answer this question for me. Was it just me or does it look like Samoa Joe actually lost some weight. He actually looked like he lost about 10 pounds, maybe it was just ,me

  • abyss and nash had more than u give it credit, the whole foley and abyss angle has me going crazy thinking of th epossiblilities for bound for glory

  • maybe you werent into it because you haven't been following the build up

the pope and suicide have matched up in a regular singles match, just last thursday!!!

And Angle droppin the title last month would have been stupid, listen to yourself, have AJ win, then drop it, then win it again, that already sounds like 4 different champion reigns in the span of 2 months, thats one thing that bothers me about wwe, lets look at hardy, december it was special him winning, since then 3 time champ!!

  • If Angle dropped the title last month, it would've been 2 reigns. He said AJ and Sting didn't need to be for the title. So Morgan would've won and that would've been it

  • too many gimmick matches who does the booking VINCE RUSSO

  • sting should have got the win/title and dropped it to aj at bfg

  • Why the hell doesnt Cornette become a lead booker along with Russo?

    Ferrara's a joke!

  • Cornette got fired lol

  • Oh and TNA need to move away from the impact zone. COnfused dead crowd..

  • the mics were the problem there. You can tell that there was something up with the audio the whole PPV.

  • AJ talking into the mic at the end was lulz.

I just think the crowd was a dead crowd overall. They popped at "Beer Money" saying this is awesome and lol at Lashley and Rhyno getting little to no reaction

  • i think what made part of the ppv not so great was the crowd. the last match would have been alot better if there had been more a of a crowd reaction through the match instead of just the front row when aj won.......

  • They had a match on impact the week before. Ended in about 3 mins

  • I hope Joe loses some weight. Ive never bashed him cause of his weight, and as you said he does have talent, but he does need to lose his weight

  • yeah joe is fat ass hell he has need to take some time off and loose weight for a while.

  • i thought this was a really good ppv

  • Honestly, when Cody Deaner and ODB are MOTN somethings wrong lol

The ending was fine. Hernandez cashing in was markworthy..other than that nah

Announcing was a no. I can't enjoy Taz tbh. I miss West

  • No Surrender was better than the 2 previous PPV events (Victory Road/Hard Justice). Hopefully Bound for Glory is going 2 be not just the best TNA this year, but the best wrestling PPV this year!

  • It has been reported that Lacey Von Erich has signed with TNA

  • This PPV was pretty awful IMO. If not for the AJ ending then I'm sure the rating would have been even worse.

  • Since when has Samoa Joe EVER been used properly in TNA.

Mark my words, Joe will one day jump ship to WWE in the future.

  • hes already had the chance twice

  • That doesn't mean he still can't go there in the future.

  • I agree with Effen. Eventually Joe won't take anymore of their crap and will jump to WWE, that is, unless he's an idiot.

  • Best review I have seen yet.

  • this was better than turning point and yet you give that better rateings

  • truning point from last year? yeah well that had that also had a GREAT match on it this did not.

  • man tna is so lame why the fuck are two awsome talents in the motor city machine gund being wasted a way please tna drop the sucide gimick and bring back kaz

and an other thing this anit america gimmik world elie is playing is so old

you have had mohamd hassain La Résistance lax team canada the heart foundation the The Un-Americans

    all play the same gimmick

  • I rely loved the pope vs suicideyyy match it was so stupid and funny and good all in the same time it was rely fun and something fresh to watch . Nothing like a good jingle bell .

  • What is the deal with Abyss? The guy used to be a monster. Now they have him acting like some kind of mentally handicapped child and he has the worst match on basically every PPV.

  • TNA No Surrender ill give 6 out of 10 stars

  • Sting main eventing at BFG? Now that's new.

  • Everyone bitched about AJ not having the belt. Now, he has it, and people still bitch. Its rediculous.

  • That is to be expected. Wrestling fans are never happy. AJ wins the belt, first thing they whine about is Sting going to main event BFG, even though TNA have been promoting that since August. This is probably why people in the business do not listen to the fans, all they do is bitch and moun.

  • Taz sucked all hell last night. They need west back.

  • You probably would have never thought you were have say those words, do you?

  • review UFC 103.

  • not much to review to be honest.

  • I thought it was a good show. I streamed with a few friends while we played SDvR2009. I loved the Lethal LockDown match, it was the four best teams in TNA going at it with a lot of build up. Maybe like 3-4 months worth of build up. ODB/Deaner was SO entertaining for some reason. THink you under rated the M.E. a tad but yeah. Good stuff over all. HUGE step up after VR and HJ.

  • There matches have like zero heat these days, honestly i noticed this. I remember when the crowds where buzzinng now days it meh.

  • YOU STOLE MY REVIEW! LOL! Every single thing you said fit what i was gonna say! No need for my review now. Joe being overweight was the biggest disappointment for me and to be honest I knew it would not be of the same calibur as Daniels/Joe was in the past.

  • And yes, Suicide and D'Angelo had a match last week on Impact

  • Just wondering, why do you call Taylor Wilde "Ms. Wilde"?

  • You mention at 4:04 that Joe needs to lose about 15 pounds, but I would have to say more like 30 because he has to be nearing the 275 lb. mark, but to be able to compete like he did in 2005-2006, he would need to aim under the 250 lb. mark. He's way too big now for the more cardio based matches he did with Angle back in 2006 and early 2007.

  • If you notice he has lost muscle not just gained weight so its probobly closer to 15 lbs he needs to lose pluss add some muscle. When I saw him wrestlemania weekend he was about the same size he was when I saw him in 07

  • that's the point. muscle got replaced with fat. we may as well call the muscle buster the fat buster

  • I'm glad they didn't take the title off the Angle, the man was found not guilty. Anyway I'm glad A.J won the title. I think he will wrestle Sting and beat him at BFG

  • Yeah, and they couldn't have took it off of him at Hard Justice. AJ wasn't even in the match and Impact! was taped weeks before Angle got arrested. TNA took it off of him when they could, and at the right moment. On PPV and not on free tv.

  • They taped Impact the night after Hard Justice it could have been done easliy

  • And make AJ's win mean nothing. Then everyone would whine "TNA didn't make it feel special. Wasn't AJ just defeated twice in a row by Matt Morgan to gain number one contendership. Also defeated by Nash for the Legends Championship? Wouldn't Nash or Samoa Joe fall into the number one contender spot before Styles?" TNA also promoted AJ's big announcement on Impact before Hard Justice. They had AJ announcing his retirement fixed, starting the build to Sting's retirement.

  • Styles should be winning the title at BFG, which is their WrestleMania. Furthermore, he should have beaten Sting eons ago. I'm tired of Sting main eventing BFG every year.

  • You don't even like TNA. If AJ had lost at No Surrender you would be complaining he didn't win. If Sting had won setting up AJ beating Sting at BFG for the title, you would be whining Sting won. There would be no pleasing you either way. If Angle or Morgan had won, you would whine as well. There was no outcome to that match that would have pleased you.

  • This way TNA had Styles gained a mentor in Sting, a technical manager of sorts. Defeat two people to gain his spot. Built up a Angle vs Morgan singles match and feud. While also a future Styles vs Sting match at BFG.

  • So when Angle has something else happen in 6 months to a year we are supost to just let that slide to. its what what he was accused of doing its the fact that stuff like this KEEPS happening.

  • The last time Angle was arrested was last year for a DUI. The majority of Americas get DUIs. That is probably the most common violation next to speeding and I got pulled over Saturday night for that crap. Angle presented a precription for the HGH. We've now got veification that Khan is a crazy bitch. This is why you don't speak now ask questions later. Look at me, I'm waiting to see what Jeff Hardy does. Not that hard. Just wait and don't throw people under the bus. Plus it wasn't TNA's problem

  • DUI is not that common at all. I don't know ANYONE that has ever gotten one so that is just crazy. I said when it happend that it wasn't about what he did it was about the fact that at some point TNA needs to tell Kurt to go home and get his shit togather.

  • That just wouldn't be good business. Angle's contract is supposed to end this month. Sending your top draw home because he is suspected of stalking and getting a DUI a few months back (the HGH has nothing to do with this, TNA probably already knew and saw the prescription) when he may not resign. All you are doing is pissing him off and giving him more of a reason to leave. Then you lose out on drawing matches like Angle vs. Morgan, Joe, Styles, Daniels, Jarrrett, Hernandez, or Lashley.

  • Damned be the good of the employee and the welfare of the person, company comes first. Profit and greed is more valuable than ensuring your fellow man is fine and safe.

Something is terribly wrong with today's society when people start to rationalize what's best for the company over what's best for the well being of another human being.

  • The world has been like that for thousands of years. It is nothing new. Money rules the world. Lets move on. That will never change, unless some religious stories come true. Otherwise we are bound to kill each other till none of us are left over money. At the moment, there is nothing wrong with Angle. He isn't taking drugs he hasn't been prescribed (that we know of) nor is he doing anything else that the average person doesn't do.

  • It's a disgusting practice nevertheless. The idea that money holds more value than that of another human being's life and welfare is still nefarious, and to defend the company on the grounds that they need to make their profits over the well-being of one of their workers is still downright disgusting.

As for your defense of Angle, it's not only naive, it's very misguided.

  • this is actually the reason why the TNA locker room is demoralized. daniels got arrested for DUI and thought that he can get away with it because angle retained at hard justice 09 despite harsher charges. if wrestlers are going to show up coked up shit then they wouldn't give a fuck anymore since angle would often be handled with kid gloves

  • That would be the case if they were showing up drunk and high. But they are not. If they were I would be for TNA needing to do something. But if you work at, lets say Walmart. You get off work. Decide to go out and hang with some friends. Get hammered. Then drive home, get stopped by a cop. You get a DUI. Released the next day. Head to work later, should your boss fire your or suspend you for you being the dumbass? Not Walmart's problem, just like Daniels' DUI isn't TNA's. But you want it to be.

  • Differing circumstances - one employee isn't highly scrutinized by the media while the other is. Your example would best work with other employees of a highly recognized area like sports athletes. For example, Michael Vick broke the law, was punished in the laws eyes but the league also wanted to add their own stipulations of punishment for his actions that hurt the leagues image. In that case, it was his problem AND the league's, as well as his employers at the Atlanta Falcons.

  • I don't pay attention to most sports, so no comment.

  • The history of Angle demonstrates a clear, self-destructive path that, left unchecked, is going to cause harm. If not only to himself then to others very close to him.

We didn't get to see the signs for Curt Hennig or Chris Benoit, but with Angle's issues flashing in bright neon lights, much like Jake Roberts or Jeff Hardy, we still ignore them and claim that they're alright.

Angle's health should be his number one priority, not TNA or wrestling.

  • Where is Angle's health in danger? He got smaller but that is a good thing. He was probably on roids in WWE. Left and got smaller because he got off the stuff. Like I already said a DUI is common. I know tons of people who get caught for that shit. I see adds for drinking and driving on tv all the time in my state. As for TNA sending him home. That would be a bad decision in a business standpoint. They could instead wait for him to resign then get him help if he needs it.

  • The constant in his neck injury in which he took the radical treatment to come back sooner versus the treatment known to work that probably would have slowed him down physically, as well as time-wise upon his returns - it wasn't that long ago that TNA had a scare with him via his neck injury bothering him again. Now his behavior indicates an erratic individual who is trying to weed out all of Jeff Jarrett's influences in the company, his personal issues with Rhaka Khan...

  • So him getting a DUI, dating a crazy bitch, and taking doctor prescribed HGH for that neck is harmful to his neck. Great, couldn't have said it better myself. That is amazing logic I can't believe I didn't see it before. TNA must suspend him now before his neck gets too bad and runs wild on us all. Oh wait, I think I just saw his neck move on a video. Is that normal? He needs to get that checked, or TNA are going to be in some trouble.

  • A history of neck issues that date back to pre-1996, a recent neck injury from a year ago that he never took time off - yes, let's allow this man to continue working while relying upon substances to help him cope with the pain. Instead of insisting he put his health first, let's put the company first.

I'm also sure he had a torn tricep last year as well that he also didn't take time off for. But you're right, let the man continue to work under the influence of "numbing" agents.

  • I'm for him taking time off, but at this point TNA can't suspend him for that. After he is back under contract, then do it. Don't risk the existence and future of a company, over a man who has neck problems.

  • ...let's also not forget his cries of the WWE never allowing him time off, but yet when his marriage was on the rocks, when he was heading into separation and divorce, he took NO time off to fix up his personal issues, instead deciding to continue working on the road, with his numerous injuries that he's probably taking pain killers for - you know, the very items that helped cause Eddie's untimely death.

This man has a history of self-destructive tendencies and people are still blind to it.

  • His life. If he wants to end it, let him. He wants to be reckless, let him. Who are we to say what is best for Angle? Eddie died due to Heart issues that may have been caused from on and off drugs usage.

  • Sol instead of enjoying the man and celebrating his life for as long as possible, we should encourage him to do the very things that will end his life sooner, leaving us with yet another tragic story in the wrestling industry - you know, because we don't have enough tragic stories in wrestling.

Sorry, but I think the HUMAN should come before the COMPANY, and this person clearly needs help. So why are you defending his destructive nature for the sake of TNA as if that will help the company?

  • Well we aren't doing that today either. Everytime the man has a match, people whine saying he shouldn't have done what he did in the match, etc. He has legal problems, people throw him under bus like that. Maybe if we have another tragedy people would respect his work more. I don't see him being destructive. We don't know of any drugs other than HGH he is taking. And a DUI is common. You act as if he is smoking crack, and having matches naked.

  • If he wants to end his life, let him, but he should be released. No wrestling organization should contribute to his self-destruction.

  • Maybe

  • That makes no sense. Angle was fired by WWE for refusing to cooperate with the wellness program, so the idea that he got off the stuff after going to TNgAy makes no sense.

  • There are multiple stories over him leaving WWE. One was he wanted to take time off and Vince was going to release him instead of keeping him under contract like they did HBK from 98 to 02. That upset Agle so he went to TNA. Another is he was addicted to pain killers from being on the road so much. If he was on steroids in WWE, that explains for him being huge. Look at him now. He is alot smaller. As for pain killers, no telling. Also quit saying TNgAy. It makes you look childish and sad.

  • And if that first story were true then again I ask the question why this man wouldn't willingly take time off during his neck injury in Japan, and when his marriage with Karen was clearly on the rocks and ending last year? It's a bullshit story he concocted to protect his image and his decision to go to the competitor in TNA.

Remember, he was suspended for a brief time by the WWE prior to his release - why would that be the case when he hadn't failed a drug test? Perhaps it has something...

  • We'll never no what happened or why he would not take time off. He loves wrestling, and that is what gets him away from his problems. It may have failed a drug test, no telling. WWE didn't release much info back then.
