Not exactly. SD Snatcher used a chip called SCC+ giving to the MSX system more sound channels and better sound than the usual PSG used in most of gaming systems in that time. Japanesse Master System used sometimes the FM chip, as same as Famicom used (for example) the VRC6 Konami´s Chip for sound.
Anyway. The composser and the instruments are same than Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
