Have you tried Revlon Colorstay? Doesn't it smell similar to the Silk Creme?? Lol :p Just curious because I thought of the silk creme one when I first used the color stay... People always complained about the smell that I had to find out for myself.

i have the lm silk creme and actually apply it with a brush, because it is so thick, its harder to blend with fingers, it ends up looking patchy... but to each his own :0)

This is the best review of LM Silk Creme that I've seen. All anyone ever said was that it was great for dry skin so I took the plunge and got it and it's way too thick for it. I tried applying it a bunch of different ways but I never rubbed it in my hands, I'm going to try that. I'm using HD now and love it though. Thanks for this video!

I use both of these foundations, but I prefer the Laura Mercier. The Make Up For Ever foundation is a low-medium coverage, so it does not cover my under eye circles and small imperfections that well. I also find that the Make Up For Ever foundation DOES make my skin shiny after 2-3 hours. I can see this foundation being awesome for something like Tess who already has really good skin. The Laura Mercier foundation smells like M&Ms to me! It covers really well and is super blendable.
