@shadowz2468 Sure I understand but this version is the third or fourth mix of this performance I have heard over the years, especially since the dawning of digital re-mix over zealousness in the early 1990's. I have this on vinyl, VHS, DVD & CD and all are mixed slightly different. Anyway It's THE WHO live so who cares?

Man, I like this performance way better than the album version. The way there's just so much more soul in it, and I love the end where it reprises go to the mirror. That final stance Roger daltry gets in is either the most epic, or cheesy thing I've seen. It was probably leaning more on epic, since it was Woodstock and everyone was high on acid...

@pwnerinator In my humble opinion, The Who is one of those few rare bands that sound better live than in studio. :D Not a lot of bands can sound as whole as them in stage. Take the Rock 'n Roll Circus version of A Quick One for example... Pure epicness.

@whitenuts000 Yeah, I definitely agree with you. Tommy (probably by luck more than intention) was a phenomenal live album, but Quadrophenia (in my opinion their best album) was horrible live because of it's complexity. I guess in that sense tommy is a beauty of an album.
