Why would you want to just run into the safe room? That defeats the purpose of the game, which is to have fun mowing down infected. Also notice, this is the demo version. People had no clue how to play when this was released. And, judging from the amount of damage that he's taking from common infected, this is either Advanced or Expert.

Yeah this was the first FPS that I'd ever played where melee attack is crucial. While playing this I had mapped melee to mouse 3 and put zoom on mouse 2 (like it is for most FPS') but you really never need Zoom for anything. Melee is as, if not more, important as being able to fire. For a lot of the game you need to coordinate with your team to have 2 people dedicated to meleeing for a horde and the other 2 shooting the pushed back zombies.

yeah well I've got decidedly better since recording this clip. Melee attack in this game is almost as important as actually using your gun. When your good with it you can herd the zombies into a bunch and then take them all out with only one shot of the shotgun
