Hi, I'm trying to bring awareness to autism and on my way I found this great new independent film called "White Frog". It centers around a boy who has "aspergers" it's a form of autism. I loved the trailer so much I created this youtube channel for it. Please please take a few minutes out of your day to check the trailer out and help me get the word out. My son has Autism, he is now 30 yrs. old, and he used the hang on the refrigerator door handle and scream to get something to drink. I taught him to pat the fridge for something to drink and later when his language finally developed he could say, "thirsty". He still speaks in short incomplete sentences but most people can understand him and he can express his wants and needs. Your little boy is very cute :)
@bowenfarm1 P.S. My son also used to bang his head. After removing all salicylates from his diet at 30 yrs. old, he no longer does this. I was told when he was younger that diet didn't matter. I finally had to try diet because nothing else had worked and he was becoming more violent and aggressive towards everyone. It took a year and he is very calm now with no behavior problems. It also cured his OCD and digestive problems.
how do you handel the head banging my son blake dose this and we have to restrain him other wise he hurts him self he was dianosed with autisen and a genitic disordr thats called 6p deplition were hes missing a part of a cromzon
I think some of thoose if not many or most or all, that bang their heads do so because of a good reason. Here is an atustic girl who just started to cumunicate /watch?v=F4XMlhCfp3Q ... She explains really well her and other autisitcs problem.
my son does this, he tries to walk around me giggling and bounces his head on my belly. he doesnt talk not even one word, he constantly bites his sister and never responds to his name at all hes 2 years old turned 2 weeks ago

This really reminds me of my son Ryan. He's 3 and acts like that a lot.
