I am a young San Francisco hippie woman, but I was raised by 60s generation hippies. I remember as a very young girl seeing the biker types around my folks occasionally, but if I recall correctly, they were a bit different from the mainstay of hippie culture. Of course there is some overlap on certain ideals, but the differences are pretty big, too.
