Glad to know I'm not the only one who does not like the MUFE HD powder. I just do.not.like.it. I've tried it several times. Not for me. BTW,what color do you use in the Coty? NC25 in MAC is too dark for me right but but NC20 is too light. And I can't seem to find the right powder. Very frustrating. I'm trying to avoid buying 2 bottles of foundation to mix.
@kelligirl724 It is a nice powder, but it is sooo fine it gets everywhere and I have noticed that when I use it to set my concealer under my eyes it turns orangey eventually. I buy the translucent Coty. Oh wow, your in between colors, that must be frustrating. XX ~ E
Please do a concealer tutorial using this. I have terrible dark circles and am always on the hunt for the best one. I love your videos, I get so excited when I see yours pop up in my subscription box!
Yes. I have VERY oily skin **sigh**. But they do sag if you have oily skin you will have less wrinkles when you get older. I did just get the Pore fessional by benefit because I have big pores. Omgosh it's awesome. But I think I need to use a primer with it. Maybe I will try the one you suggested. Do you think it's better then Smash Box primer?
We know you meant concealer E lol. I do that sooo many times. I love the peacoat! You did great on the review. Have you tried Bobbi Brown corrector and/or concealer?
@PrissyandPink Thanks P. I have not tried Bobbi Brown, yet. I always hear such good things about Bobbi Brown, Armani and Laura Mercier concealor correctors. One down, two to go!! XX ~ E
Bless you for that sneeze at 7:45! You can walk away from the camera and stifle your sneeze, but the Czar of Sneezing will always know that you sneezed!
That is too funny. I was watching your video with my 4 year old next to me and I was like look she is talking about the long sleeve trick, as she calls it before she puts on a jacket, and she looked at me like Wow, someone else knows about it. Too funny. Love the outfit.
Hi. I have a quick question. I'm on the hunt for a good primer. I like smash box but was wondering if you had found one better? I have very oily skin. :(
I have tried ones by Victorias Secret, Bare E, and philosophy with no luck. It seems that my foundation rolls (I hope that makes sense).
Studio Sculpt concealer was a fail for me. I even bought the 194 brush (also awful) hoping that would help; I bought Moisturelush eye cream hoping that would help - great eye cream but now discontinued :( I even tried heating it on a heating pad. The concealer always looked scaly and awful under my eyes but maybe I need to try it ON TOP of foundation. It's waiting to be B2M'd b/c I waited too long to try to return it. I may try it again now.
@mariella99K I know there are some people who swear concealor goes on under foundation, but honestly if I did it that way it would rub off. The key for me is foundation and then concealor, and once my concealor is in place and set, I have to make sure that I have very minimal contact with that area or it will rub off or become scaly. I need to do a concealor application video.
I swear I live for your OOTD videos! You were born with a fashion gene in your DNA girl!
I learn alot from you E...I want to try the new Tarte Amazonion Clay Full Coverage Foundation, I saw it in the ULTA ad I got this weekend. Will let you know my thoughts if/when I get it.
I have many high end concealers, but I have found the maybelline age rewind concealer is amazing under the eyes. It is lightweight, doesn't settle in lines (not that you have any), and has great natural looking full coverage. ,
@Goldykel i have the maybelline age rewind and it does nothing for my dark circles. I wanted it to so badly since I hear so many people love it. It is lightweight and does stay out of any lines. I like it a primer to my concealor. It works lovely for brightening.
Good review, great outfit and yes, I want to find the perfect foundation and concealor as well, right now, Nars found. and Mac fix or Borjouis concealor are ok. But I want something like the sculpt for my under eyes. I´ll keep in mind. Thank you!!
@TheStyleChronicles No problem, I like your channel, I´m from Spain, so, why don´t you try Helena Rubinstein, I used to use it, the foundations and skincare, like Color Clone or Spectacular. Just a suggestion. Have a lovely weekend!
When you find perfection let me know :). I am still looking for foundation and concealer - so far I am enjoying the Mac Pro Longwear - both the foundation and concealer but not sure they are perfection! I have also been using the Maybelline Age Rewind brightener and concealer and those are nice too!
@wisemak1 I have the Maybelline Age Rewind and it does nothing for my dark circles, I hear so many people talk about it and I wanted it to work so badly. ARGH, I use it for a concealor primer now. I am getting the Pro Longwear this weekend. XX ~ E
Benefits Boing is the best concealer I've found. It's not specifically marketed for under the eye, but it goes a great job and I have dark dark circles. It's seriously like spackle for the face.
I think you want an opaque concealer, not so much a thick one... but I understand... I am still battling acne scarring & if you get it as an adult in your 30's they simply take forever to fade!
@2300hours I have that. It works well as a primer, but honestly does not do anything for my dark circles. I know lots of people love it and I like it as a primer that brightens before my actual concealor. I have really dark ones. XX ~ E
