  • @zoomorphicrap first step is finding a doctor ofcourse. unfortunately those that can perform the surgery are pretty rare. but keep looking in i believe the cardiovascular sector

  • My chest is like yours :)

  • my left chestbone/rib sticks out and it's mainly cosmetic... My dad and brother had it and theirs grew away... it still gives me psychological problems though..not too bad, but I DONT WANT IT

  • @PS3MrWhite i got the same thing, it pisses me off!

  • thats not to bad.... ive had far worse

  • i have it too but not that deep.

  • you r so luck to be alive

  • I can tell he's asian.

  • Perfect body!

  • And where's the heart? Is there enough room for the heart?

  • @snoopy84able actually when I got the surgery for this the pectus was too close to the heart so the doctor had to make a incision on the chest and lift it up from there. So it could have been potentially dangerous.

  • @negapesuo Sure it could!! Fortunately everything was OK, wasn't it?

  • @Pulga86ful EJERCICIO DE FLEXIONES PARA PECHO DESARROLLA LA PARTE Y SE NOTA MENOS, BUSCA EN GOOGLE.

  • i think i have this, but what happens during this surgery, i know they stick a metal bar in your chest but how long do you have it in there for?

  • I have cause i got it =/

  • poor kid

  • @PointBlank76AntC dont worry about it. lol got the surgery to fix it

  • @negapesuo i just heard from the docter that my baby in my belly has it to :( and i'm kinda scared of whats about to happen ? do you have problems with it

  • @girlicious1212 i dont know because i didn't have it as a baby. If you baby does have it then unfortunately hes going to be stuck with it until he is atleast 16, maybe even 18. Symptoms vary across different people.

Best thing you can do for him is to encourage him psychologically.

  • @negapesuo ow i'm sorry for you ! are u gonna get an surgery? well i hope it heals by itself because i'm 5 months pregnant and the docter says there is a chance that it can heal by itself:) but if it doesnt i will support him in every way i can :)

  • @negapesuo i live in canada and have savere pectus excavatum, what is my first step to having it fixed?

  • @girlicious1212 There are physical exercises that can fix the problem without the need for surgery. The requirements for their success is starting early (sort of too late for me, but obviously not for your child :P ) and constance. So don't worry and just ask your doctor about the exercies.

  • @girlicious1212 I had since birth, and it has given me almost no problems health-wise. Only problem is the psychological aspect.

  • Have u made a new video see we can see it? And I'm going for the nuss Procedure on Friday

  • @hondarider519 yes I have a kind of a sloppy video up of post-surgery

  • Got the surgery everyone!!!! And it hurts like crap!!!

  • @negapesuo its only like that for a couple of days. about 3 months after surgery your gonna be able to sleep on your side again.

  • @Zeus101mon doctor told me 3 weeks

  • @negapesuo alright yea 3 weeks sounds better, 3 months is when your almost, if not all, back to normal. i got mixed up the numbers. i had it done 2.5 years ago so little hard to remember. but i suggest weight lifting around 3 months to help the torn tissue heal.

  • @Zeus101mon yea... its been 7 weeks now and i already feel SOOOO much better. perhaps light lifting at 12th week but i dont plan to do anything intense until the 6 month mark.

  • @negapesuo smart choice on 6 month. once you hit a year after lifting and depending if you take supplements or not. your gonna notice that the bar is completely with you. it wont stick out of your skin as much because of your pec and lats muscles. i didnt take supplement and the 1 year mark was qhen i noticed. once you hit the 2 year mark, your hardly gonna be able to tell its in by looking at it, again depending if you stick with work out and supplements. good luck with it and be smart w/ pain

  • @FabricioTibiano i have insurance. the purpose of this surgery is not considered cosmetic although there is much cosmetic benefit to it. it could be detrimental to your health physically and psychologically.

  • @negapesuo I have this guy but my background is not so, not his. just want to know some exercises to increase the breast to make it cover the hole.

  • i have pe, and i live in trinidad but i dont think there are docs here that can perform the surgery :(

  • i have to exact same thing, never really knew the name of it though, thumbs if you want videos..? :P

  • you probably caught fired cannon ball on your chest :D

  • BOWL CHEST! You can eat your cerial out of it on a morning. :L

  • i had that , excersized alot and it didnt change had the surgery just about under 2 weeks ago it wasnt painful. ( im 17 years old ) but the pain varies so much one day im fine the next im really stiff cant breath etc... ive gained alot of weight because the only thing i can do with a massive amount of pain is sit on my pc, i live in cardiff if anyone has any questions feel free to ask :) , the doctors dont know shit you gotta go to a professional at a hospital

  • @leythz ill be getting mine in a few... im still kinda worried about the pain.. and the sugery itself lol.

yup, most hospital people in general gives me a blank statre when i tell them what ive been diagnosed with.

  • @negapesuo pain is bad and you will notice when you get home from the hospital that life gets abit harder for your body and also it had effected me mentally im always a little angry because of the pain and sleeping is the worst part of the day for me, i sweat because of the pain or the meds i dont know which caused it but ive never sweat in bed before i think its the pain since ive been of my meds for about a week now since they did more harm then good to me,msg me if yu want bro im here to help

  • @leythz

    what toilet issues ?:)

  • @WarlordSosa painful shit mann, all your worst nightmares in a single ( or more ) push trust me bro haha

  • @leythz haha im pretty sure ill be knocked out during the surgery, either by medication or the pain.

  • @negapesuo youll get that a lot, pectus excavatum isnt a really rare thing but it seems like its just not widely known about. I myself developed it when I was about 12 year old, and at 15 years old I had it corrected through the nuss procedure. 2 days ago on June the 11th was my one year out of surgery and Im doing great! Still the general soreness that will be there the whole time, I mean hey.. you'll have a metal bar in your chest. Otherwise things are great, have built muscles and breath fine

  • @snooter28 be proud of the metal bar lol. I wanted it to alarm the metal dtectors but.. it didnt work. oh the dissapointment haha

  • @negapesuo Hahahaha. I know! I get asked all the time if a magnet will stick to it.. but it won't.. I still get those rough days where i swell and my body is trying to reject the bar.. Nothing that you don't get used to and live with.. People who don't have the bar just don't understand though.. So don't expect any sympathy haha. You won't get any..

  • @leythz

mine is a lot less sunk then this ,but its still obvious, so i was wondering if i can fix it with excersises until it hasnt got worse...

  • @WarlordSosa mine wasnt that bad i think my surgery was mainly cosmetic which means for the looks lol, doing alot of chest workouts the mouscle around the hole is v. noticeable but no mouscle would build over it i dont know though it could just be me : (

  • @leythz

when i stay straight and taut its not recognizible but when im in normal position it looks sunk...duno rly:S

  • @WarlordSosa depends man im going through this with no pain killers because it gave me problems such as anger problems and that and toilet issues lol its quite depressing at start, well it was for me but i sopose in time everything will be well :p if yu got questions feel free to ask bro =]

  • I have that, mine is exactly the same. Please let me know how the surgery went!

  • Hey i have that too.. can u guys give me info where to get the surgery please..

  • @dannybeve i guess that depends on where you live. If you are anywhere in northern virginia area, I know a doctor that can help.

  • Mine wasn't even close to as bad, but it was affecting me physically. I'm extremely happy that I got surgery.

  • mines exactly like that but they say nothings wrong

  • @sRoAmNeDgOuMy you should be talking to doctors who actually PERFORM the surgery. Some doctors told me that too, but it turns out they didn't know much about it to begin with...

  • do you feel any pain in your heart? because i have a milder form but some days my heart hurts

  • @saai66 yea my head hurts sometimes too.. but im not sure if its related...

  • Hey have u got the surgery? Because I have PE and it's almost as bad as urs

  • @hondarider519

I just met with my doctor and I'm pretty much set for surgery this summer break.

Wish me luck I'm really excited about it. I'll post a video after the surgery to make a before and after!

  • @hondarider519 I'm planning on it. Probably in like a month or so....

  • mine was just like that too. i started very heavy lifting and it hasn't repaired it by any means, but adding so much muscle really made me look sooooo much better

  • wow this pectus excavatum is extreme!

  • @alaindiazaran yea the doctor diagnosed me for a severe pectus...

  • @negapesuo mine is bad but not like that

  • hi brother no speakin inglish pero tengo los mismo q tu y lo estoy superando gracias a ir al gym espero q podamos comunicarnos y te doy los ejercicios para tapar eso cdt saludos y bendiciones soy de peru

  • It looks as tho it affects you slightly of centre (to your right a little) You should get a C.T scan done and see what effect this is having on your lungs my friend

  • @43210minus1 yea I'm getting a CT scan soon and also to check if my heart ha any problems. ALl the doctors that Ive talked to suspect breathing problems and pressure on the heart

  • you might look better but because the hole is big you will still have poor pec insertion points after the surgery, which means if someone punches ur sternum they will punch raw bone instead of bone covered by muscle

  • Your PE is severe. Mine was, too. I think you should consider having it repaired. With PE as severe as this it is likely to have an impact on you physically later in life.

    PD

  • @mysweetpectus i hope it doesnt impact me later on in life...

  • @negapesuo It is quite possible. Mine was like yours and I started showing symptoms when I was 38. I don't know hold old you are now. It is likely that your heart is compressed against your spine. I don't want to scare you but I think you should look into having it corrected if you can. The problem is that most doctors are very ignorant and will tell you that it is nothing to be concerned about. message

  • @mysweetpectus sooooooooooooooooo true.

the first few doctors I went to either didn't know about it or acted like they did even if they didn't know shit!

I finally found a group of very capable doctors and they introduced me to other really awesome doctors. I almost ready for surgery this summer!!!

  • OMFG so big hole....i cant belive it...

  • i'm glad i had it done regardless of the pain. and insurance paid for it. they should for you too as its probably affecting your heart and lungs. seeing yours again, mine was about the same actually. i had mine at 21, not sure of your age but the younger you are the easier the operation is. so dont wait too long if you're gonna do it. and if you do remember to use castor oil or something similar for the scars, you'll thank yourself later on.

    peace

  • @hermeticel im 19... turning 20 in march. I dont know how to scheduel the surgery since I have school and working over summer. If I were to have the surgery, i would need to take a semester of or something so thats very discouraging. Im thinking about living with it.. but that can change depending on how i feel

  • hey guy. i had the nuss done over 10 yrs ago, right when it came out. mine wasnt as bad as yours but it still really affected me mentally. i also had short of breath and pressure on my heart due to it. was in the hospital for 5 days, and for about a month afterwards the pain was really bad. i had the bar taken out about 1 1/2 yrs later. wish i would have left it in longer or he would have pushed it out more cause over the next few yrs it slightly went back in. it's still much better now though.

  • My main concern is is it painful? Are you able to breathe adaquately when you exercise?

  • @katethegreat19 i can breathe.. of course idk how normal ppl breathe. I can play sports just fine, but my stamina, i consider to be on the low side.

  • get the nuss procedure, urs is a severe case dude and ill tell you straight up its very noticable infact its completely noticable (sorry to be an asshole but people gota stop lying to us)

  • @lilhustler010 maybe itll be more affordable later on? lol

  • i had the same thing maybe even worse. got surgury done. but now i can see my heartbeat so idno if its better or worse for my heart.

  • @deons93 WTF!! dude ... idk what to say....

  • I'm asian and im having the same problem too. Will the surgery be safe and what does it mean the metal bar stay only for a few years?

  • @simpleflu I haven't had the surgery... I'm not sure if I'm going to get it or not.

  • @negapesuo i checked it out, and i think you had to put the bar for about 2years and you can remove it after that. But some people have problems with having the bar fitting right and had to go back for surgery several times. Still had no idea whether its worth it.

  • @simpleflu I would get it done, my problem is first money...and second is the process of getting the surgery.

I don't know where to go and I probably have to get a lot of test done to see is I qualify

  • @negapesuo Does it affect your breathing at all? Mine is similar to yours but my dent is deeper on the left side of my chest and it gives me shortness of breath plus I hate the appearance. I would love to get the surgery soon.

  • i had the nuss done 4 months ago, best thing ive ever done. i'm 35 years old. the worlds best surgeon is hans Pilegaard in Denmark, he has done over 1000 cases. the cost for private surgery is about 15,000 EURO.

  • @pectus2010 how is the pain so far?

  • I read up on it. It's called the Nuss Procedure. According to wikipedia, the procedure itself doesn't take too long but the metal bar(s) they put in you can stay in for 2-4 years. And for the cost, I think it just varies.

  • I have it probably just as bad, it's annoying as fuck but I hope to get it fixed eventually lol.

  • @gkzutto lol i have no idea how to get the surgery... the process seems very long and hard (and expensive)

  • @gkzutto yea tell me about it... I wanna take my shirt off once in a while...

  • I got the same problem but not as deep. Try working with a bench press. Stay positive!

  • @idonotneedanidforyou this is actually a result of benching, it used to look so much worst lol

  • @negapesuo lol...well maybe you are young. When you get older, you will put on more meat and it will cover it a little more. Good luck!
