I used my legend ice rod for the first time yesterday. The spring bobber is every bit as good as advertised. Detected even the smallest takes.

Not bad, but you know there are bigger fish down there that want some good jigging action. Try tightlining those blue gills/sunnies. Nothing works better on them. For every 10 little fish that hit your jig, there's a monster staring at it that is much more patient and much wiser about presentation. Good luck this year!

zgadza sie, to w USA, jeziorko to Eagle Lake w stanie Wisconsin, godzina drogi od Chicago... ta ryba to bluegill, rozmnazaja sie jak kroliki, jest ich wiecej w jednym jeziorze niz Chinczykow w Chinach... ogolnie jadalna ryba i lowna (w dodatku nawet smaczna), ale ze wzgledu na male rozmiary rzadko gosci na czyjejsc patelni czy grilu... smaczego.

you are setting the hook a little too hard. when you get bites just start reeling and pulling up slow.that ultralight rod will bend at first when they pull it then it will gte to that backbone and you will get em
