This describes my Dylan experience also. I had a friend that was a Dylan fan. When I was a kid; I could take him or leave him. When I saw him occasionally on TV, he seemed so uncomfortable. I wondered why he appeared at all, then I was looking for a Dave Brubeck CD that the store didn't have and I came across The Essential Bob Dylan and was totally blown away. If I chose to listen to only one artist the rest of my life, it would have to be Dylan.
