  • You are amazing!

  • I have three wonderful albino dwarf hamsters, I'm thinking of making these, but leaving the tails off, and handing them on my hamster tanks. The funny thing is, the hamsters are so small, the plushie guy would be actual size xD

  • I'm not new to crocheting and I had a bit of a problem catching up with you. o.o The video is great, but, just because it's not for beginners it means everybody will understand what you are doing. It's not so much the pace as how confusing your instructions are sometimes. o.oUU But I loved the mouse, thank you very very much for it. ^^

  • Thank you, I have learned so much from you! my mouse is looking very cute and I think the cat will love it. Because I made it for the cat I used yarn for the eyes in stead off buttons cause that is saver. I didn't manege to do the feet without a video :( .

  • I'm pretty much a beginner with crochet, and I find I can keep up with all of your videos - really concise and helpful. Made all my Christmas presents just from your videos. Thanks T! :O)

  • For people who think she moves to fast, just pause the video. Hover your mouse over the video and when you need a moment, click the screen to pause it. Easy peasy!

  • I didn't have a problem keeping up.

  • You need to go slower i was like astonished i had no clue what the heck you were doing slow down

  • @MultiTige I sent you the beginner playlist

  • Cute!!🐭🐭

  • THANKS!!!!!!!!!

  • hi,teresa i realy love all your work ,i just want to know that you can make a monky hat for for toddler thanks for all your creation youe GREAT!!!!!!

  • @malou65able It is something I can keep in mind. I appreciate the comment, thank you.

  • Your tutorials are great! I just started crocheting and still seem to have some trouble understanding written instructions, but once I see what to do in your videos it becomes very easy to follow. Thanks to you everything I tried so far turned out really well. Please keep up the good work! Ps: I didnt manage the feet without a video but my little black mouse is still cute ^^

  • @cutecatqueen Thank you. Crochet is repetition. Crochet instructions have a lot of abbreviations with repetition. Once you understand the repetition and how to interpret the instructions, it will make more sense. Learning to interpret instructions is almost like learning to crochet. Sometimes it will be confusing because written instructions are prone to typographical errors.

  • you go a little toooo fast

  • can you make a horse PLEASE

  • isnt there a graphic instruction?

  • @katenka4321 I have written instructions but not a graphic for this tutorial

  • yeah, everything works just like your video instruction - but the feet - you say slip stitch and then you say chain 1 and single crochet - hmmm that doesn't make sense to me :< oh well my mouse is a footless mouse but cute

  • Could you do a video with the feet? I tried, but I get confused with the written patterns. (I just started crocheting a few days ago)... My body, ears, eyes, and tail turned out great, I just need a video on the feet... Thanks for all your great videos!

  • mine turned out great! thanks!

  • @119k9342 Glad to hear! Would love to see a video response of your mouse.

  • No bigsp it wouldn't be I think it'd be cool

  • am a very crafty guy but would i be gay or weird if i tried this hobby out ?

  • @Bigsp4 I know a lot of guys that crochet and none of them are gay... xP

  • @Bigsp4 oh honey...

  • what if you dont have any poleyester and a yarn needle and u dont want to buy them?

  • how do people sew an amigurumi together (limbs, ears etc) so neatly???!! In books it's so neat and immaculate but mine always shows!!!!!!!!! I there a s pecial way to do it? It's so much harder to sew when everything is 3D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!

    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Yasmine

  • @YasmineCherfi Keep practicing and you will get the hang of it. Your work probably does not look as bad as you think it looks. Sometimes when we are in the middle of a project, we think it looks bad. If you let it set a few days, it will not look as bad.

  • Came across this and made it it came out so cute, minus the legs.. I'm a visual learner and couldn't figure out how to make them with instructions. You are a excellent teacher, learned alot from your instruction videos. Thank you.

  • thumbs up if you searched "how to art" and found this video...noone? really? man i am pathetic....

  • @erasaka82 There is a wide range of how to that will fall under art. What are you looking for specifically and maybe I can make some recommendations.

  • @tjw1963 no no, It was really just a random search to see what would turn up...lol sorry to take your time up ^^

  • @erasaka82 Not a problem! Come back and visit again.

  • Making my third one, had to re-view the vid to remember how to do it. They make great cat toys. XD

  • Thanks a million, you taught me how to crochet it' just so helpful,I don't know how to explain!!!!!

  • You did a good job with the video :) I like how you semi slowed it in the middle <3

  • @RenjiFukuTaichou Thank you!

  • you are seriously a magician! I am 16 and the only thing i could crochet was a very uneven scarf but because of your videos, I made a cute little mouse and a pig for my sister to take with her to college :) thank you so much for the very descriptive and helpful videos!

  • @BroadwayBabeify You are welcome! I appreciate the comment.

  • When you begin round two, why do you have two loops on your hook?

  • @silentbutterfly13 I have partially started the first stitch, working the continual round.

  • @tjw1963 Thank you so much! That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure and didn't want to get all the way through only to discover I'd guessed wrong. Your video is fantastic! Do think I could double the size by doubling the stitch amounts?

  • @silentbutterfly13 Yes you could make it larger that way. You would also need to work extra rounds, since the body will be larger. The idea for making the mouse will still be the same with shaping in working increases to make larger and decreases to make smaller.

  • THAT IS AN AWESOME CROCHET HOOK

  • How do you make that pink and red thing on its back, please reply?...Thanks:)

  • it´s too fast and mostly your work is not even in the main picture frame. There are better tutorials out there I will lean to. Thank you though, maybe for the future try to adjust the camera so that the whole work is in the frame and not only from time to time.

  • ur dumb

  • hai teresa i have made the mouse , but ithink i made the mistake on adding the tail and face part wrong. please give the idea which end the tail , face part to be done staring , finished end

  • Do you know how to make a crochet dinosaur? Or if you have a website with the pattern can you e-mail it?

  • When you say you don't join and you just do a continual round....does it matter if you do join? Will it effect the outcome?

  • @johnnydepplovers The outcome will be the same

  • Wow cool 

  • I can't keep up... You're too quick... :(

  • @8Restricted8 I will send you a playlist for the beginner crochet stitches. Practice them and then come back to the mouse

  • FVCK! Cant make that fucking magic circle!!!!

  • @honeymiyaw Work a chain instead

  • @honeymiyaw Practice makes perfect. :)

  • FVCK! Cant make that fucking magic circle!!!!

  • It is thanks to you that I can now read patterns. Though I can't do every project you've taught yet, I have watched a TON of your videos and they have helped me tremendously. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos!

  • ah, this is adorable! i can't wait to make one~ :D

  • teresa,, can you also make a tutorial for amigurumi of small panda please...

actually this is the account of my dad^^

  • Hey Teresa,

Do you by any chance have a left hand version of this?? If you do, could i have the link? I'm left handed and you're one of the few people who have left hand versions with very EASY instructions. Thank you!

  • Teresa you're the best ever !!!!

I wish you can help me with sth: I need to make some very big flowers or any good looking thing that can be used as small bags where to put some candies. I want to make them for the birth feast we make here in Morocco. I would be very greateful if you halep me with this

  • I made it!!, thanks!! is so cute!! <3

  • @corygirl Please post a video response to this video.

  • @tjw1963 omg its beautiful wow 0.0

  • wait what size crochet stick do i use??

  • @TVMushrooms The link to the written instructions is posted in the video details below the video. You will find the size crochet hook there as well.

  • @tjw1963 thanks! :]

  • Thi is soooo cool!! If I had enough skill I would make a little mouse army... Ima keep trying... Thanks for your vids. They are so helpful.

  • @kingglass565 As long as you keep practicing, you will get the hang of it. Please share a video response of your mouse army once you get it complete.

  • @bluegreencolor Beginner playlist is on the way!

  • i've made so many of these mice now. everytime i meet someone witha cat i make them one haha x

  • you inspire me in so many ways, if i didn't watch your videos i probably wouldn't even be crocheting now. :)

  • OHMYGOD WHY IS IT SO CUTE x3 Ohmygod I must have it ♥ I'm gonna make this wee mousey before I make my totoro :3 soooooooooooooo cute I think I have diabeetus from it's cuteness xD ♥♥♥

  • @SkelanimalKitteh I would love to see your mouse when you are done so please do a video response.

  • That is a cute little critter! It would be nice full of catnip for my kitty!

  • @craftybegonia I used to have cats and they played with my skeins of yarn before I even made anything. I would get up in the morning and have yarn strung all over the living room.

  • @craftybegonia I bet your kitty would love it!

  • What's an amigurumi and why do you name the blanket by baby afghan??

  • @Bufurzone Amigurumi is a name for small crochet animals. The name comes from Japan. Here in America, people use amigurumi referring to larger crochet creatures.

  • @tjw1963 Hahaha,I see!!

  • @tjw1963 Which wool do you use ??

Is it a special crochetwool or normal thin wool ?

  • Thanks for your videos, I learnt a lot from them :)

I would like to know if you can show us how to crochet Hello Kitty (the cat).

  • Hi, what number is the crochet?

  • @ManzaWoman The written instructions for the crochet mouse are posted on my crochet blog. It has all the details for the pattern. The link is in the video details below the video.

  • i am so happy i found you . i was stuck on a few things i have been trying to work out on a few projects i have been working <3

  • @PurpleMuppets Thank you.

  • @tjw1963 when u put it that way it does make sense thaaank you sooo much for the help

  • hi i love ur work but im new at this and was wonderin if it really matters what hook you use and the certain kind of yarn u use idk srry for the silly question ??:)

  • @04steff04 Size matters more when you are making something to fit you, like a hat or sweater. You would not want to use a large crochet hook with small yarn. It will have large holes. You should try to match your hook to your yarn for the project you are making.

  • @tjw1963 I'm about to pull my hair out, can you help me?! I've been trying to put the feet on for 30 minutes or more and I still can't figure out which 2 stitches to go through. b/c I slip stitch to the back and bottom of the mouse, chain 1, then I don't know which stitch is the right one. Please can you help me. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for any of your help.

  • So cute... I will make for a friend that is afraid of mice or moue It will look nice in her office.. Thank you Teresa for all your videos.

  • @tazgl8279 You are welcome! :)

  • mm....how to make the pawz?:3

  • @TheEmoTrinityXXX I do have the written instructions posted on my crochet blog if that helps.

  • I love this!! What ply yarn do you recommend?? Thanks so much...as always!!

  • @karysoul I recommend 4 ply yarn.

  • Forget that last comment. Haha. I was doing the legs in the wrong order. Haha. I was trying to do the back legs in the front. Lol

  • I really wish you would show how to do the legs. I'm so lost. :/

  • I noticed you use specific hooks every time you do a project. My question is, does it matter what size hook you use? I have a size I/5.5MM hook.

  • lol my favorite part was her crochet hook gripper and the slow motion part.... :)

  • This makes me wish I had a cat so I can make all sorts of little mice for it--or not, because it's too cute to be ripped by a kitty

  • this was much, much too fast for a beginner video :( You also wave the piece around so much it's really hard to see where the hook is going

  • @dachhh While it is an easy project, I would not recommend this project for a beginner. I recommend that you become familiar with the crochet stitches first and then try a square or a circle, which will help you become familiar with increasing.

  • @tjw1963 thanks for the tip, much appreciated !

  • this makes me want to start doing crochet! :D

  • sooooooo cute!!! :D

  • Maybe I just didn't hear, but what size hook are you using?

  • @NekoMuffinOverdrive Size H/5mm Crochet Hook. You can always find the link to the written instructions in the video details below the video. The written instructions will provide details for materials.

  • Added to my favorites, thank you for this tutorial !

  • This is a great gift for a friend of mine .... Thank you for sharing this with me :D

  • @SharmaineROXable You are welcome. :)

  • i cant see it well

  • Aw what a cute channel! [: I'm so excited.

  • @JanessaTheCow Thank you.

  • do you know wiremysoul?

  • @joyandjoynesscharlie No I do not.

  • what size hook

  • O-o I watch this and I feel like a total idiot simply because I have such trouble doing a SIMPLE chain... is there any way to dumb it down even more for people like me XD?

  • @RoxyLupin I would suggest that you practice the basic stitches. Come back and try this project when you are a little more familiar with the basic techniques.

  • you are very good at this. how long have you been crocheting if you dont mind me asking?

  • WOOH!!! I wish i could knit D:

I tryed but it was super hard and confusing!!!

    Nice mouse tho ;)

  • Thank you so much for this video! You inspired me with this cute little mouse. I have made two of them so far. One I made with fuzzy white yarn and put glossy red buttons on it for eyes. I gave it to my niece and she loved it. It was so much fun to make that I started making other amigurumi animals and it is my new favorite hobbie. Thanks for sharing your creativity!!!

  • wow that looks sooooo hard

  • OMG I WANT ONE!

  • Hey nice video! I'll make one for sure!

Just a question like that... is there any yarn and the stick in Canada Wal-Mart? Please Answer!

I just need the stick to do ur mouse!

  • @xkirasaki I'm sorry but I have never been to a Wal-mart in Canada. I would suggest that you call your closest Wal-mart and ask them if they have crochet supplies. There are a lot of companies from the US that will ship to Canada.

    crochet-mania.blogspot.com/p/online-mail-order-supplies.html

  • @tjw1963 ok... thank you. maybe ill try micheals store anyway.... and thank you again!

  • @xkirasaki I'm in Montreal. You can go to Walmart but I've found that Zellers (or the one in my area) has a better selection. There might even be a dollar store that sells some (you just have to look around)

  • @boredpeople100

me too im in montreal but.... my mother never go to the Zellers like before now ....

ill see if i can go see Thank You very much

  • where can you get the eyes from i get my yarn and needles a Micheal's Craft store is the eyes of this mouse there?

  • @9Jordyn I used buttons for the eyes on this mouse. You should be able to find the eyes at any fabric store and Wal-mart if your local store has a craft section.

  • this vid is what introduced me to amigurumi :3 I learned how to increase and decrease and how to start the chain 2 and magic circle through this vid!

I made my mouse yesterday and I love it!! Thank you!

  • k hilo usan

  • Oh! thank you very much, nice video n_n

  • @02350092 Thank you.

  • So cute ^^ You do it sooo fast :O

  • So cute, beautiful job on these, you're very talented!!!

  • @Raenelly7 Thank you.

  • I've learned more about crochet from watching your videos than from any books or tutorials I've read. The mouse is sitting on my desk now and looks adorable! Thank you so much for all the help you've given me!

  • Why do you add the red yarn inside?

  • @TalesofE I just added the red yarn for embellishment and decoration.

  • I don't understand the "magic circle." I have watched how to do it a million times already, and in slow motion, too. I cannot reproduce what she is doing! I'm so frustrated! I want to finish this mouse! He is just too cute to not give any ears to!

  • @alima8314 Work a chain 3, join instead. Then work the stitches for the ears. It is not necessary to stress yourself over the magic circle. I do have another video for the magic circle which will provide a different view.

  • @alima8314 if you dont have ears - i think you do a half pinwheel stitch for each ear- but keep on doing it and add on a a double or single or whatever crochet stitch in the back to make it like 3-D. if it makes you feel any better i didnt really get it either :)

  • that's soo cute! I have to make this =D

  • Hey Theresa your an aesome crocheter! I love your tutorials and I was planning on making an amigurumi animal for my great-grandmother. She loves dogs, so can you send me a tutorial video on an amigurumi dog or if you haven't done one can you make one please, it would help a lot. Thanks! ~Eric

  • @miamichiaki The legs are part of the written instructions on my crochet blog.

  • @miamichiaki that did not show as legs

  • @zortavv You will find the instructions for the legs on my crochet blog.

  • @tjw1963 MUCHAS GRACIAS NO LO HABÍA VISTO

  • @zortavv Usted es bienvenido. ¡Gracias!

  • cool but u make it look to easy

  • @hannah3mm1997 Practice and you will be able do it too. Have you crocheted before or are you just starting.

  • as do the feet?

  • where is you're blog? I can't find it

  • @TheReese5601 There will be a link below the video, which is the video description now. You can click the link to my crochet blog.

  • @TheReese5601 The link is in the video description below the video.

  • ughhhh darn it just became a fruit! (small)

  • Comment removed

  • its so cute..

  • i know XD She makes it look so easy too.

  • Why do you go under two loops for each singe crochet?

  • Thank you for this video!

But,, I want to make it to,,

But it's getting round, How can I make it more like a mouse?

    :D

  • It is supposed to be round, then get longer and look mouse/egg shaped.

  • wow...=)))

    thank you,nice video

    I'm gonna make it

  • I just made two of these and gave them to my friends... They loved them... Thank you for this video!

  • wow beautiful!!! i'll try it

  • where do you get the eyes from a craft store or a diffrent store

  • The eyes I used for this mouse are buttons. They do not have to be anything fancy. If you have old clothing that you are throwing away, you can recycle the buttons from old clothing.

  • This is new I'll try making one

  • ur talented..and any one else who can do this i dnot think i would be able to do it =-/ it looks so hard

  • wauw this is very cute! haha. i think i´ve found a new addiction ^^ thank you!

  • What does "we won't join" and "join" mean? I've been trying to google this.

Thanks so much for your videos!

  • There are two ways to work rounds. Typically you will join a round with a slip stitch to the beginning stitch. The alternative way is to work in a continual round. The "we won't join" is done only one time. That is at the beginning of the first round, where you take the round off in to a continual round. The stitch is worked in the top of the stitch instead of joining.

  • I do believe you have forgotten to tell the beginners which side is the correct side to show once it is stuffed. Not a big deal really, just thought you might like to know.

  • i just made 12 of these :O

  • You have been busy. What are you going to do with 12? You are welcome to share a picture of all your mice on my FaceBook page.

  • I appreciate the comment.
