I kind of liked the beginning, it's two guys just fooling around and having fun really and to the people who see it as gay, well I guess you're not secure enough with your sexuality and you're reading waaaaaay too much into it.
Fantor, Good thinking! But as I have believed ever since Keaton's Batman all the way to Bale, the perfect choice for (Commissioner)Gordon would be non-other than Adam West(he would have to play it streight for the Bale movies! Either that, or West would have been a better choice for Young Bruce's Father in various flash-backs like on the Wayne rail train). With that personal choice in mind, it would be great to see Van Williams hmself portray Scandland(spelling?). P.S. I liked Oldman as Gordon!
Van William's daughter (the Green Hornet)- Nina Williams- swam for Los Angeles Athletic Club. I remember them swimming with us at the Los Angeles Colosseum, with Peter Daland, the USC coach/Los Angeles Athletic Club Coach and 1964 Womens's Olympic Team Coach. Thanks for the memorabilia video.
I wish someone would post the green hornet press conference , which introduces the show and explains what the show is all about . Van Williams , Adam West and Bruce Lee there are asking questions for the press .
i almost crying seeing this video.. bruce lee is legend.. even if he died long ago, i wasn't even born that time bruce lives in my heart.. he is a great inspiration...
I'm sorry I have to disagree with you there my friend. It's really VAN WILLIAMS. Methinks you may be referring to a different scene in the movie. Look again. As Clark and Lois exit the revolving door of the Daily Planet building, a still good looking VAN WILLIAMS who's about to enter the revolving door, is called by Margot Kidder who introduces her to Clark. But VAN WILLIAMS is in a rush so he gives quick hello and enters the revolving door. Please check and see if I'm wrong. :)
No Tigertony67 is right. That is Rex Reed. They filmed the scenes featuring the Daily Planet at the Daily News building in NYC, hence Reed's presence. He was a movie reviewer for the Daily News at the time.
LOL, I hate to say it, but I felt the same...and not just for the beginning and the song doesn't help much. This by far my least favorite photo set of Bruce. Who thought of this photo shoot is what I would like to know.

can you imagine these two guys making the 2011 Green Hornet movie? Of course at the age they were in 1966.
That movie would be fantastic,

Saw Van Williams make a cameo in Superman 1 as Clark (Christopher Reeve) and Lois (Margot Kidder) exit the Daily Planet Building.

Although they do look similiar, that was Rex Reed; a film critic playing himself going into the building through the revolving door.

I'm a HUGE Bruce Lee fan, and I even have the entire series of Green Hornet coming in the mail, BUT.
Even I have to admit the beginning of this is just a tad gay.
