Tutorial:how to connect the mpc3000 to ur computer

Okay you didnt show if you could play the Rex player with the 3000, I have a Motif, so if Im going through Midi and I select 1B because my MPC is hooked up through B, I select B on the Reason and I can play either through the MPC or the Motif? So basically...I can use the MPC as the sequencer and Reason as the sound module...correct?

when you save the track then load it up agian do you need reason to be open aswell.

Yo, you went midi out the keyboard to mpc midi in then midi out the mpc to midi in on sound card... what happens with the MIDI OUT of the sound card. sorry for soundin dumb but I got in/out midi on my card...

when I did that, as soon as I went to the next track and put the channel on number 2, the sound that I had on channel 2 was playing with channel 1. How do I keep each channel/track from playing with the other sounds?

make sure when u switch from track to track you hit the enter button.for some reason if you dont hit the enter button it will play everything...hope that helped

so the sounds from the keyboard will record and loop with the mpc but do you record drums from reason using the mpc with the same setup too?

which ever one u want.use the mpc for drume and then use reason for sounds or use reason for everything through the mpc.
