Dear munchhurdle, my point is not about there being a bodhran player in this recording! its about the way she came up and just started to hammer the shyte out of the poor drum!!! if you look at the video you will actually see the fiddle player turn round in amazement and disbelief, I am a bodhran player myself and I am very well known on the trad circuit!! If you ever want me to name names then I will by all means do so, My s friends and I were having a sesh when she fecked it up with her pals..

Love to see young players like this with so much talent. When I was growing up in County Clare, traditional music was not as popular as it is now. Thanks to people long dead like Willie Clancy Miltown Malbay, Mrs Crotty Cooraclare/Kilrush and Patrick Kelly of Cree the music lives on and goes from strength to strength. I get great pleasure from listening to beautiful music like this.

I'm a proud native Texan! Regarding tradition haters, U can find them anywhere, where there is human beings, not just Texas!!! At one time the British tried to eradicate the Irish culture, including music & dancing.

Marvelous performance ladies!!! U can see these musicians don't spend most of their time watching T.V., playing video games, & other general time wasters.
