Xbox 360 VGA Cable - Sound on normal speakers

I went to future shop and told them i wonted to get sound from my xbox vga to my speakers, NO ONE there had any idea how i would get it to work, I go on youtube, and learn how to do it in 1:26. serves me right!!!!!!!!

because its not really for people using it on tv's, like for me ill be useing it to connect my xbox to my computer screen, like most computer screen they have no speekers so that why i need the gender changer.

If you don't have the coupler and gender changer. You could always take the red RCA cable and place it directly in the centre of your 3.5mm jack. Try using something like prestik for them to stick together in position. Thumbs up if this works for you.

hey i have a problem with this cable... if i connect the xbox with the acer tft screen have for 1 sec. an signal and i see the xbox 360 logo icon but then it dissapared and the screen show me an "no signal" dialog

turn on your xbox wait one sec, hold Y then another sec later hold down the two trigger, this will reboot the xbox and reset the display setting see if this works

you only need to HDMI cable, HDMI supports both sound and picture, there is no use of AV cables i think

There is for people using dvi-d, you can use the AV cables just the audio purposes, while using the hdmi port for the video, of course this will require the OP's conversion technique to work.

Another great way of doing it, if you've got a PC nearby, you can plug in the 3.5mm cable directly to the microphone input on your PC's sound card, and from there stream the sound from the speakers hooked up to your PC.

I connected the cable to my crt monitor, but it doesn't look so well, text looks very clear, 2d images too, but some text in the dashboard looks blurry and most important the graphics are all blurry, PC games looks just fine in my monitor at 1024x768 but this did not go so well, and it looks the same in any resolution I use :'(

Go into the settings for the Xbox and there should be an option to change the resolution - try changing it to 1024x768 or 1280x1024.

Yes, it should do. But first try messing with the settings on the monitor to see if it gets better. If it works for your PC it should work for the Xbox. And you dont even need an LCD monitor, an old CRT monitor should work fine.
