@Darkness5412 mate, I think the smartest way to you download this song it's using some software or website that convert a Youtube video into a MP3 file, beause still this one is a studio version, it's not common find "professionals" records of capoeira' songs, they are all played "live" in "rodas de capoeira", like old times

Just because its a different form than what people may think traditionally. You need to study its history and roots to understand its evolution. Ok, there is one concept in martial arts I need to make clear to you.

I know that ITF and WTF is different. Even though they share the same name TaeKwonDo, their style is obviously from different school.

Fast punches does not mean you are good with fist techniques, if you punch is "One-Dimensioned". I suggest you to see Shaolin Fist or Tai Chi for example, I'll explain it to you if you don't understand.

liokenn WTF takewondo emphasizes on exactly what you said but ITF taekwon-do developed by Choi Hong Hi derived from the japaneze karate AND tekkyon also has some fantastic hand to hand combat. So yea lots of leg techniques but also great in close range. Fast punches.

Uh... Alex, Capoeira and TaeKwonDo is very different martial arts in respect.

Capoeira fights in the way Black slaves gets their hand cuffed, while TaeKwonDo derives from military combat skills, TaeKyon. Let me get this simple, Capoeira practitioners has great flexibility, but the combat system is insufficient. TaeKwonDo emphasizes too much on hard and long range attacks, which becomes bad if legs damaged or being pulled into close range melee.

Capoeira is not MA, it is dance, and it is not practical in 90% of fighting environments.

Compared to Kung Fu, Capoeira is cool dance made by RastaMan on drugs.

@capoeirajames I allready did that, many times cause my friends are training Capoeira for about 9 years now, maybe less, and every time they loose. It is important to understand the diference between two totaly diferent martial arts, and sepcialy here because capoeira is not MA.

It is to slow, spending to much energy on...nothing actualy and they can dance all day if they wont, but when it comes to Kung Fu...in 20 second I can put them down:)

@STALKERyxxx let me give u a lesson of history and tell u why kung fu is the way it is and capoeira is the other way. capoeira was created as a method of defense but due to persecution the practitioners had to hide their moves in dances, in a way the Capoeira has turned into a lifestyle. and Kung Fu was created also for defense but it got the support of government where it began, therefore it needed no reason for hiding and moreover it developed in temples so there was relative seclusion.

In ACTUAL Capoeira fighting, there isn't as much dancing and flashiness, but I've seen a Capoeira fighter level a kung fu fighter with a meia lua de compasso. keep the general dodges and kicks and add some upper body and you have Capoeira FIGHTING. It wrecks dawg. You're messing up the dance with actual fighting.
