Loosen up a little! I mean if you can. Be light on your feet, that should help. I know I'm working on it right now I'm one to talk :P. But seriously taking little steps and being light on your feet should help out a lot.
By the way what state is this in, the area looks so nice and the courts look really new. The courts here are so shit its not even funny. Good strokes though. :]
This is the Lake Murray tennis club in San Diego. It's not like a country club or anything, it's just some city run courts I think, and yeah you can be a member, but it's open to the public.
you try too hard to look like Rafa, you need to try and load more on your forehand especially w/ the sitters. It doesnt look like you have very much control on the ball. Tone it down hit shots deep, w/ consistent pace depth and spin and your footwork needs a bit of toning.
Hi, thanks for the advice. I do need to work on my footwork, I am not in very good shape overall. :-) I do need to work on more consistency (spray too many), but I think my "control" is decent. After all, I spend most of my time trying to hit the ball to exactly where the hitting partner can just swing at it (sorta like throwing a ball into a waiting kids mitt), so I think overall I am fairly successful at doing that. :-)
I would have to say though, I am not trying to look like Nadal at all. I know it can come across that way because I use Babolat gear, but I don't wear his shoes, clothes, or really have his strokes (I don't even hit a two hander). I guess the closest thing would be my forehand, but I hit a semi western or weak western grip because I think it's effective. :-P
I am too old to be playing the "wannabe" game, I am content being myself. ;-)
But again, thanks for the comments, I always appreciate it.
cut down on the top spin on ur forehand is my only criticism. the spins making the ball drop to short, and an experienced player will eat it up all day
As my tennis coach tells me "Move those tree trunks" lol..........nuff said otherwise u have awesome strokes

This was the canon HF S10. Really great camera. Just sat it on a tripod.
