  • Anyone out there have a recording of "You Sure Are A sight for Sore Eyes"? Not sure if he did iit with Jessie or as a solo.

No one like Waylon and the boys.

  • Thanks for posting. This is timeless. Waylon and "Moon" will never, never, never be replaced.

  • Waylon en av de bästa outlaw artister. Som tur lever hans musik vidare.

  • sound like waylon was kinda ill sre nuff miss him. thankya for posting his music

  • only one waylon in trillion years and forever..RIP...BenBahe

  • Beautiful as Waylon

  • whoot whoot

  • what a great song sung by one of the greatest of all time

  • Not a day goes by that i dont think of the great Waylon. There is a void in country music that will never be filled again, R I P Hoss

  • dang i will have to say that no body plays a steel like mooney but he really put his heart in this one and they never made a better singer, entertainer than waylon boy what a pair and country music at it's very finest thank you guys .

  • great

  • as my children lay me to rest i will have this song, it says it all for me ,and my life .

  • Waylon OWNS this song like he does any he sings xx

  • The great poet/songwriter Shel Silverstein was the co-writer of this song. He was white. He passed away in 1999

  • Waylon was unique in his own special way....only one Waylon....and the same goes for the "Moon"... When theyre gone...they can't be replaced. Thank God, we have their music. Can you just imagine what Country Music would have been without the Moon's input on steel?? This duo had "Magic".....the same kind of "magic" that happened with Buck and Don.All of those early Buck Owens records with the Moon......just fantastic!!

  • Dennis Locorriere was the singer of Dr Hook and also in that sang. He is white, alive and well.

  • Dr. Hook's version is different. It is nice, and who was it that sang the Dr. Hook's version? What was his name? He's probably dead. Nobody seems to know him. I think he was a black guy. lol

  • @gttdkt This song was written by Dennis Locorriere and Shel Silverstein. Dr . Hook release the original version in 1976. (Dennis Locorriere on lead vocal) - Waylon was co-producers and helped out with backing vocals on the song "What about you", also from the same Album. Dennis is still alive, have a solo career and have about 100 concerts in the UK every year - He write many songs and have released some 3. CD`s these last 10 years. Oh yeah, He is white, from New Jersey .

  • Got to love Waylon but listen to the original Hook version. Written by Shel Silverstein

  • @Bebopmsaw I did and the dobro is okay but can't compare to the 'Moon's' steel. And as for as the voice and beat....no way....you can't beat the Big W on this one.

  • I was a 39 year old picker and she was a 23 year old beauty - that was 32 years and 5 kids ago...I still love to sing this song to her, and what's amazing is that she still loves to hear it....God is Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood...

  • Ralph Mooney's pedal steel playing in this song is outstanding. Moon is still alive and picking.

  • I like him but this song is better with dr hook.

  • He's gone now.

  • sometimes the gap gets wider but waylon is fantastic ....:)

  • a tribute to all couples with an age difference and remember the gap gets smaller with time , but also if you dont like the age gap why did you marry the person who was stupid enouh to marry you , when you think about it ,, ?? you didn't do too bad , take care and love the one you're with .

  • I always love to watch Waylon singing & playing his guitar (doing what he did best)!!! Thanks for sharing outlaw!!!!!
