Well that's bull shit. Because in the book the people infected and dead didn't bleed the blood was a jellish like substance. I love the Aurtor, but I don't like it when the movie isn't really true to the book. It's those little things;)

@McLarenMercedes this one was pretty good, sophisticated. I enjoyed it. It was hard to be suspenseful because I already knew what was going on but there were a lot of great scenes that I appreciated.

Hm, the original was much better. This is way too overblown the way that they show the person killing himself is so not needed, because in the original everything was left up to the imagination what happened exactly. The is scene was much more subtle and creepy in the original. It figures Hollywood would ruin yet another classic.

People have gotten stupider since the seventies. These days, people need every single fucking detail explained to them in even more vivid detail, otherwise they won't understand.

And even after you explain it, they're even more confused.

I agree with you, though. I may have enjoyed this remake, but ambiguity is sometimes better.

I love this movie!! I grew up in Hedley ( where some of it was filmed ) My daughter who was only a yr old was a back up for the baby that is in the movie! We got pics with benjamine Bratt and ricky schroder! It was really intresting to watch them film it then watch it and see your town and people you grew up with on tv!! lol
