@TouchTheGiraffe while duro has has something to do with how a wheel slides out or not, it's not everything, in fact shape and thane have a much more dramatic effect on slide properties for wheels. Metro motions slide out easily, but they're 80a. Pink powerballs are 78a and they're my favorite wheels. Venom Tweakers are 78a but they slide out easier than wheels of a harder duro. If you don't know what you're talking about, don't try to act like you do.

@MrXJaRvIsX the evo was meant for any road, check out max whippermans videos (the kid at motion boardshop). he shreds an evo on many roads. it all depends on the rider. this kid is clearly not qualified to being touching an evo at speeds more than 10 mph. the dewedge in the back makes it hard to initiate slides but easier to drift (like predrifts and junk). he just needs a board w/ a shorter wheelbase for roads llike this

1) lots of racers push mongo to take off. it's a quicker start.

2) knowing how to push mongo is a good thing. NOT knowing how to push regular is a disadvantage, but not necessarily bad.

3) it doesn't really matter on a longboard. you're not in a hurry to set up for a trick like on a regular skateboard.

4) adam colton is seen pushing mongo often. same with paul kent. see #2.

5) grow a pair and stop hating

i've also noticed people who push mongo start to develop some dominance with the back foot, as that's where they balance while pushing. learning to push all the different ways will help break that and make you an all around better skater imo.
