@Musicon14: dpeneds on what you are trying to do. Are you more of a Ranger or Warrior where you need HP. Or are you a Caster and need more Energy? Then go from there. Generally, the rule of thumb is that between your runes.insigs and itmes, you should have close to 600 HP has a base with your higher HP set.
Yes you can. The rune on the existing armor will "disappear" and be replaced with the new one. Also, if you want to save the rune that is on the armor, I suggest using a Perfect Salvage Kit so you don't loose the Armor.
I am in a lot of different guilds... I have a large friend base across multiple guilds/alliences... so I change often... which I will say is unfortunate I change so much. Currently as of 1/15/2010, I am back in TwiA agian.
GW Guilds I am actively a part of..
HM: Clan Heavy Metal (My Clan)
TwiA: Current guild and old GvG Group
meow: Mostly a girl guild that do a lot of PvE HM, Farming and Titles
For a Warrior: Primary Attribute (Strength in this case) usually goes on the hands with a +1. What ever weapon you are using should match your head. So if you are using a Sword... Should have a Sword based Helm with a +1 Rune on it. I'll go over more detials for basic Warrior armor some time on Wednesday then for a video. (No promises)
ya warriors can be a little tricky... and expensive when you don't do it right since they are the most expensive armor sets in the game to buy... I do have 2 different sets I run depending on the build I am doing. (I have a third set... but that just to look different for my Axes :-p)
yeah you eventually learn that certain types of armour should have certain runes on them, i can't seem to find the runes that give you the +2 energy / +5,+10,+15 health tho..
yeah great video. more people should know how to do this. also helps out when you're playing with other people. it frustrates me when people wont set up their armor for certain builds. and over all it makes what you're doing slower, or in some cases less profitable.
Well, if you would look it this way, than I guess you are right, but still. I like when new people make mistakes, they learn far more from their mistakes than when you expalin something.
you would be surprised mate... but, this is more about saving money and armor swapping for builds... which is somthing most new players don't know. Placing a Swordsmanship rune on your chest is bad management... because then you would have to spend an extra 2-10k to make a new chest armor to swap out for an axe verses a helm or gloves.
When would you chose to rune your armor with Radiant Insignias over Vitae/Vigor runes?

you already asked this I believe... please note this is a hobby.
Usually, this is the basic layout
Head: Survior with matching minor Weapon Rune
Chest: Radiant and Vigor
Hands: Survivor and Minor Strength
Legs: Survivor and Attunement
Feet: Survivor and either Clarity or Attunement
Also note, that ANET is planning on buffing the Tactics line, so the Strength Rune might change depending on the changes.

Well, people who have played GW for at least 1 - 2 days, they already know how to do it, don't they?
