why did the scouts kill eatch other?

In order to identify the strongest in body in mind the initiates are sent to the testing grounds where they fight for their lives in order to become fully fledged Battle Brothers and recieve all of their implants. Thus the scouts (usually young initiates) killing each other,

I know of no chapter where this happens.

It happens in the Ultramarines i believe as well as within a few of the smaller chapters. It usually happens before they get their final implants and their power armour. Im not 100% on this just so you know. Its just one way that the scouts killing each other could be explained.

Not a bad stopmotion at all. Most of the folks calling it gay don't even know how hard it is to make these really well - I liked the assault marine jumping around and the fight with the lil' 'nids at the end, though you might try using less gunk for the smoke effect with jetpacks. If they made that much, they wouldn't be able to use em near troops :D

Since it was asked, my chapter is a spin off of the imperial fist. My chapter does a lot of deep striking, using bikes and scouts for spotters. My librarian is either on a bike, or has a jet pack. My troops come down in the drop pods or in jet packs. Plus terminators that deep strike and two dreadnoughts. Common Imperial Fist strategy: deep strik en-force.

My chapter is always fighting the Tyranids. They're a out on a fringe world helping defend the Tau who are weaking the chapter's loyalty.

Blue and red tend to be the "Default" colour for the Nids because its the colour scheme in the Battle of Macragge boxed set

You start off from a Brown i.e. the foundation paint called Cathan Brown then work up mixing in bubonic then Tau sept yellow then Iyandon yellow then into sunburst

Its basically blending and layering of browns and yellows
