I don't know who you are talking to but it has NEVER been proven a hoax (if you are talking about the paterson film). If anything, it has been proven real by biomechanics of its walk and muscle bulges. The only thing that has been proven is that it CAN be an extremely well planned, well rehearsed, and well, just perfect hoax.
By a twist of fate I just happen to be reading an old paperback book entitled "The Mysterious Monsters", by Robert & Frances Guenette in 1975. It was also made into the motion picture from which this clip was taken.
If you can find a copy of the book, I'd suggest getting it. Another paperback book from the early 70's that I can suggest is "Sasquatch" by Rene Dahinden and Don Hunter.

This is one film I never saw. Most interesting theories. However I have to disagree with the idea that Sasquatl live in family units. There are VERY few encounters with more than one being seen. I think they are solitary for the most part. When you consider that sasquatl territory is rimmed with towns and cities, this will cut off one sasquatl territory from another. Thus making it hard for these creatures to meet. My personal opinion here, based on other animal behavior.
The Patterson film has stood up to over 40 years of scientific evaluation including recent digital examination actually shows the movement of jaw muscle. I dont think anyone could have foreseen digital technology,especially Patterson,and included moving muscles under the fur and jaw bone. I don't know who you are talking to but it has NEVER been proven a hoax (if you are talking about the paterson film). If anything, it has been proven real by biomechanics of its walk and muscle bulges. The only thing that has been proven is that it CAN be an extremely well planned, well rehearsed, and well, just perfect hoax.

By a twist of fate I just happen to be reading an old paperback book entitled "The Mysterious Monsters", by Robert & Frances Guenette in 1975. It was also made into the motion picture from which this clip was taken.
If you can find a copy of the book, I'd suggest getting it. Another paperback book from the early 70's that I can suggest is "Sasquatch" by Rene Dahinden and Don Hunter.

This is one film I never saw. Most interesting theories. However I have to disagree with the idea that Sasquatl live in family units. There are VERY few encounters with more than one being seen. I think they are solitary for the most part. When you consider that sasquatl territory is rimmed with towns and cities, this will cut off one sasquatl territory from another. Thus making it hard for these creatures to meet. My personal opinion here, based on other animal behavior.

The Patterson film has stood up to over 40 years of scientific evaluation including recent digital examination actually shows the movement of jaw muscle. I dont think anyone could have foreseen digital technology,especially Patterson,and included moving muscles under the fur and jaw bone. Several including the recent idiot Bob H. have claimed to be in the suit but if you watch him in a supposedly similar suit..it is quite hilarious. I think it is the only sasquatch film on record.

Old indian legends are not "hard" evidence and as far as thousands of sightings, it's not the quantity, but the quality that counts and eyewitness accounts are notoriously inaccurate.
What DNA evidence are you specifically talking about?
Footprints comprise most of the so called Bigfoot evidence and can easilly be faked and with dermal ridges as well.

An unknown hair sample doesn't mean it came from a "Bigfoot", it means it didn't match any other sample it was compared with.
For example, an animal that is foreign to a certain region that's some would claim to be a bigfoot hair can be reported to be unknown.
Hair samples are remarkable for their inconclusiveness
DNA also cannot be derived from
hair alone, the root or some blood must be there has to be the root or some blood.

I think you are misunderstanding what I said and an actual bigfoot carcass would be the perfect piece of evidence.
You have some claiming they have actual Bigfoot DNA, without genuine Bigfoot DNA you can't conclusively say that.
There simply isn't any standard measure to go by, no tissue, bone, blood, teeth etc to compare it with and conclusively confirm it to belong to Bigfoot.

Reknown Bigfoot researcher /believer Grover Krantz even said this of the alledged bigfoot evidence, the usual fate of these items is that they either recieve no scieitifc study or else the documentation of that study is either lost or unattainable.
Where competent analyses has been made, the material turns out to be bogus or else no determination could be made.

You obviously never heard of the Cambridge and Oxford investigations or the LNI investigation which lasted 10 years or the 1.6 million dollar Operation Deepscan or the 2003 BBC commissioned investigation, which all proved there are no large animal or animals there.

Even diehard bigfoot skeptics acknowledged that there are big differences between the BBC bigfoot and the Patterson bigfoot. The differences being (1) the patterson bigfoot has long arms, longer than a man whereas the BBC is human length arms (2) patterson bigfoot has clear musculature and girth whereas BBC has none of those.

dnp a few hairs (probably bears) hardly constitutes hard evidence. Items 1-3 would hold no weight in court of law. I would hate to be on trial with you on the jury.
