You CANNOT reach this spot in matchmaking in the real Halo 3. The area is blocked by an invisible barrier. The reason it was called the BETA was so Bungie could make changes before the final release. This would be one of the changes. Im not making fun of anyone's comments, so dont turn around and call me an ass or anything like that. But just as advice, dont look stupid by trying to jump up here because you will die in about 3 seconds. THIS VIDEO WAS FROM THE BETA, NOT THE ACTUAL HALO 3!!!!
