  • To any of the people that has been commenting in this video, I AM A VENEZUELAN and stop saying this things about chavez and about my country getting better every day, YOU STUPID ARSEHOLES IT IS VERY SAD TO SEE MY COUNTRY GETTING WORSE AND WORSE

  • @dbarca10 you are probably one of the rich people losing power you asshole...LONG LIVE SOCIALISM!!!

  • IS Chaves a Dictator?NO!Is He invading other

Contries to steal their OIL as US do!NO!Has weapon of Massdestruction!NO But Bananas!USA got a lot of that sort!HAS The democratic chosen Chaves been Atackedto Be put away!YES!

By USA in a coup! And Yankes wonder Southern America been a little Angry not of the US People but of their Goverment and Corporatens after 200 years of Robbery!Strange!

  • Fuck the state, fuck Chavez! You workers fought to get nationalized?! OK, even if Chavez is good, what after him?

Bear in mind - the State is the enemy. Hierarchy is evil.

    Anarcho-syndicalist greetings!

  • Personaly bro i have known real Men like chaves all my life, then there is the puppets faces of a mainstream agenda whos only goal does not give a rats fucking chance in hell for a crumb, Resistance to the NWO comes from more pain then your able to give, Hugo Chaves is not an evil man Can you say that by the grandson of a Nazi Banker named Bush whos lies are accademic and have killed thousands and displaced millions of people?

  • America should stay out of all countrys,

People have the right to determin their own political leagle systems without the help of the CIA.

  • As a Venezuelan living in the U.S... if Chavez doesn't leave office next year I hope the U.S. intervenes.

  • Why so thousands can be killed? i see you became a blind american, Even my American wife thinks this war bullshits a world wide power grab, Hey why dont you sing up for IRAQ?

  • Er... did I say war? I am completely opposed to the war in Iraq and I have been there. A power grab? No its not. Stupid? Yes.

Do I want the U.S. to invade Venezuela? Of course not. There are other avenues the U.S. can pursue to take the idiot Chavez out of power.

  • Any form of "intervention" to destabalize the government of Venezuela would incur huge death tolls, take note that the bloodless coup led to over 50 deaths in the streets due to the government ban on protests by Carmona.

And with so much widespread support for Chavez and socialism, it would be impossible that a US sponsored action would have much effect to reverse the revolution.

  • Well many in Venezuela know that the "revolution" is actually a power grab for a dictatorship. There is widespread support for the U.S. and those who still want democracy. Its the majority actually if we take in to account last decembers vote. Not to mention its widely accepted that the elections are rigged in Chavez favor. There have been bloodless cues in the past. Even chavez had one. I don't think venezuelans will put up with him for much longer.

  • Theres alot of assumptions in your statement.

There is widespread support for the American people in South America, very little for Bush, make distinctions between government and its people.

If it is widely accepted that the elections are rigged, then why did Chavez lose last december, is it a seasonal dictatorship?

Yes there have been coups in the past, what I told you is that these so called bloodless coups lead to many death regardless, 2002 ended with 53 dead by state repression

  • Any intervention would be met with powerful opposition, this powerful opposition would in turn be met with state repression, by asking for US intervention you are risking in all seriousness hundreds dead, if not thousands and most likely the consolidation of the revolution.

Chavez is at 68% aproval, even Sumate has him at 54%

and btw, no election since Chavez has been found to be fraudulent, the EU, OAS, AU, Mercosur and the Carter Center all certified his reelection in 2006 as free & fair

  • I distinctly remember reading a UN report on the state of Venezuelas elections having them rigged. He lost I think, because most of the country decided he was stepping too far. Even the riggings did not stop the volume of people opposed to him. This of course is not based on any facts on my part, merely a theory. What would you rather have though, the loss of democracy and the establishment of a dictatorship? Venezuelas crime rate has skyrocketed, personal liberty is under serious threat...

  • Virtually no industry left in Venezuela, they've all left, the middle class is suffering, and the poor are getting no long term help ( only bandages on an open wound.) I would much rather see the Venezuelans handle this themselves, but a strong show of support by the US would not hurt. This does not mean any sort of military action.

  • There is plenty of industry, Venezuela's average growth rate is 7%, Real wages (taken after inflation) for the bottom 60% have risen 120%, and 40% in general. GDP figures tell us that industry is not lost but dramatically increasing, private investment is down hugely but public and government sector have massive increases every quarter.

I dont see bandages, I see tools for people to take control.

We can debate socialism but the economics of the Bolivarian Revolution are sound.

  • You are basing this all of your statements on false information. I don't know where you get your facts. Crime in caracas has skyrocketed. Period. The economy is doing well because oil prices are soaring. Venezuela isn't moving towards a dictatorship? What? Chavez is trying to stay in power for decades! Free until proven guilty is NO longer a guarantee. Industry is NOT increasing in Venezuela, they are all leaving. Supermarkets now have LINES for getting milk and other basic food products.

  • He is targeting the education system, both private and public as well by the way. Please tell me where you get your facts.

  • For growth numbers (GDP and wages) the World Bank tracks them, for the murder rate, Amnesty International cooberates the Venezuelan government numbers (crime has NOT skyrockted, though I admitted to you that progress has been slow and that is one of the few areas you have legitimate greivance)

17 out of 27 countries in Europe have unlimited executive terms, President Sarkozy can unilateraly disband Parliament, order indefinite marshall law. When will your plea for French democracy begin?

  • Venezuela's growth rate is was 8.4 in 2007 according to the CIA World Factbook, but you argue industry has dropped? Like I told you private investment and foreign investment has dropped hugely but worker controlled factories (like the ones in this video) and the government sector have grown to fill that gap.

The shortages are partly artificial by corporations hoarding and illegaly selling in the black market, tens of thousands of food products have been seixed from hoarding sellers.

  • But these shortages are also due to the rising food prices around the world, the UN has called it a catastrophe, they are by far not limited to Venezuela, violent riots in Mexico(which imports 60% of its food), Nicaragua, Honduras, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Chile, in Haiti they overthrew the PM because of these food shortages.Corn prices rose 149% and wheat 257% since 2006 according to the Toronto Star, and lets not forget the farmers strike in Argentina.

  • Yanqui disruptors are not hunted down enough.

  • The UN filed too late to monitor directly in 2006 but had surrogates through Mercosur and Carter Center.

There is ZERO proof of rigged elections (which cant be said of Colombia), they are monitered at all levels and even the US State Department admits the legitimacy of his reelection.

Venezuela is no where close to, and is not moving toward dictatorship, it is moving toward democratic ownership o the means of production and distribution=Socialism, its no secret whats going on and why

  • Crime is a major problem in Venezuela, and it has been for over 2 decades, it has been steadily decresing, for example the murder rate is down 18.2% since 2003, the prison system is being entirely overhauled to be humanistic but that is one legitimate problem in Caracas, take it up with the opposition mayor there

  • viva la rebolucion, viva chavez!!!!!!!!

  • looks like future!

  • Go Chavez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Felicidades !

  • Nice one, IMT and HOV is doing a great job. The movement of occupied factories are truly inspirational.

  • inspiration to workers throughout the world. the revolution must be put back on track in ireland, after recent compromise to imperalists and capitalists
