Candace had a great opportunity in 2009 to win the championship when she had 5 Olympians on her team and the Sparks were the heavy preseason favorites. It was Lisa Leslie's last season+Parker completely choked in the Western Conference Finals against none other than Taurasi+Phoenix.

It's hard to say whos better. You're comparing a guard to an all around player. They are both great players who are in the top 5-10 in the WNBA of all time. DT3 Is better...Just what she did in her years there at UCONN...3 Straight and its not like the level of competition was really low..Candiace is good...but the level of competition wasn't as tough as it was when Diana won....in 08, UCONN could have beaten TENN in the championship but they let STAN walk over them....but DT is by far better than CP...She didn't have much hype about her when she came out of HS like Parker did...and Diana already has a WNBA Ring..and she'll get another one

Diana Taurasi has won on every level of play. She has is a three time college champion, a three time champion in the Euro League, a champion in the WNBA, and a champion in the Olympics. Candance Parker has not won a WNBA championship, nor has she won a championship in an overseas league. Taurasi is clutch, and will put the team on her back AND make her teammates better, something that Candance can't lay claim to because of her attitude and arrogance.
