  • awesome depth!!

  • love it!

  • That's freaking impressive man. Kudos. Great depth for such an enormous weight.

  • HOLY FUCK!!!!!! That was a brutal fight

  • oh man oh man HUGE!

  • BIG BOTTOMS, THO

  • is that his way of handling heavy weight, for a moment it looks like he fell down

  • @Friday13thTaurus Mendes claims he lifts big in the gym so let's see him do the same in competition. That's all.

  • @Friday13thTaurus Mendes claims he lifts big in the gym so let's see him do the same in competition. That's all.

  • @Friday13thTaurus You are still assuming that that was 800 pounds on his back and it doesn't even cross your mind that he could have been lying about the weight. It's pointless to argue with you.

  • @Friday13thTaurus You're not every observant; check the description for meet info.

If I am not mistaken, Mendes hasn't c&j more than 215kg (IN COMPETITION). If you think he can win a gold in the Olympics, you're out of your mind. BTW, which country will he be lifting for now that Brazil turned him down? lol

  • @Friday13thTaurus Maybe Harrison wasn't even lifting in his twenties, or maybe he had similar strength to Mendes but never recorded his workouts.

Also, we KNOW that Harrison lifted 860 pounds since this is an official competition whereas Mendes' "impressive" lifts have been done in the gym where we can't verify the numbers.

  • @Friday13thTaurus Maybe so, but it is still 60 pounds short of a 860pound squat.

  • @Friday13thTaurus Even without a belt, wraps and a buttplug up his ass, 860 pounds are still 60 pounds more than 800. Deal with it.

  • @Friday13thTaurus I said "bigger", as in greater than 860, not less. Dumbass.

  • Has anyone seen a bigger olympic squat with a bounce at the bottom? This is unreal!

  • @Friday13thTaurus I just looked at the first page of all the guys doing your "Squat Lockouts". lol and I can full squat more than most of those guys are moving 3-4 inches and the guys doing a 1000 pound rack squats have them struggling with less than 500 with a full squat. ummmmm I'll stick with my training methods over what those guys are doing hahah

  • @Friday13thTaurus Nah I disagree Your Knees are much different than your Elbows and back. When doing Half Squats with an amount of weight is terrible for your knees it should never be in peoples training. Can wilkerson out squat him to correct depth maybe lol Wilkerson weighs 455 pounds! lol and the Squat is his Best lift. Dans best lift is Deadlift.

  • @Friday13thTaurus Why would Dan want to take 1000 pounds 4 inchs above parallel lol ... That shit would be pointless. Dan would much rather take his squat to the correct depth and have everyone say "That is a Legit Squat." Instead of having over half the PL Community say that the squat shouldn't have counted because it was high.

  • I never thought I'd see anyone whose legs were as big as kirk karwoski's... Are you from Ft Worth?

  • Well dang....I'm giving up powerlifting now.

  • subbed...

  • I have to say i follow powerlifting, and that Squat sir was one of the greatest lifts i have ever seen, Freaky Deep and raw. I would be very proud of that squat, it is way more impressive then those high ass suited squats with more then a 1000 on the bar who cares!

  • @powerful1677 amen. this is true strength. My only suggestion is to take off the wraps and squat 800 completely raw for the next bench mark. dude can totally do it, probably even 830 without wraps.

  • lookin forward to seein 900 from you some day

  • Graet lift Dan, you've trained with Louis Simmons havn't you? I notice the westside guys mostly go wide stance, I'm around 6 foot 1 and use a narrow stance and people keep telling me I have to widen it, did Louis talk at all about stance width etc? Do you feel its jkust a matter of personal preference/comfort?

  • Good to see there are still some proper squats around. Good stuff, you deserve the lights......

  • walked out and and put it in the hole. That is a squat. Though apparently you must be a hater because you can't half squat 1000 lbs :)

  • Dan This is the first time I saw this I can't believe I missed it I am subscribed to you too! That was so awesome! Way to go! Lets see Robert Wilkerson squat this much weight to correct depth not going to happen.

  • @TheRoad2Recovery220 Thank you !!!

  • Massive !!!!

  • Still no gear on you even if 860lb is on your body?

  • this guy is a maniac!

  • That's a big fucking dude

  • Fuckin animal squat. Beautiful depth, awesome power to grind through the sticking point, great lift. 400 kilos is close within your reach.

  • Unbelievably strong!

  • Nice work Dan.....Nothing againt your awesome dad bro but its Nice to finally hear a supportive girl on the other end of a video camera for you.

  • OH WOW! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

  • Way to kill it Dan. Now I feel the need to squat tomorrow.

  • God Dammit. My life feels so pointless now.

  • Holy shit man!

  • Fuck yeah dude!

    Dat ass.

  • Inspirational!!!

  • CRAZY! over 390kg! 400 should come in no time. how far are you from the world record?

  • @michaelzwarszawy He is a 50 kilos from the record and the record holder is still active.

  • @BlueSabb If it's the guy I'm thinking of, at least Dan goes to depth...

  • @michaelzwarszawy Malanichev recently squatted 992 in wraps and a belt. Dan is progressing fairly quickly for already being up in the 800s, however!

  • @etwade That man is my hero.

  • beastly squat...way to stick with it n grind it out. and u look massive when standing next to other people.
