Lately I have been noticing slowdowns in connection speed when viewing certain videos on youtube. Has anybody else had this experience? Today, I watched a ton of Frank Zappa videos that were loading at darn near the data rate that I am paying for (it never seems to match the advertised rate). Then, when I watch the Fall of the Republic, my data rate is at only 30% of my average. Also, I notice that the next video in the sequence is harder to find than most other sequential video posts. WTF?

I thought it might be censorship, but realized it was nothing more than my own paranoia. Google however has supposedly reset the view count on some google videos.

Of course it's a risk. When you can't find gold or silver to buy. Then you ask the question. Whom owns the majority of gold and silver?
Those two metals are irrelevant. DEBT is worth more. And that's what's for sale. When China buys our debt, they will come to collect.

They may obtain more debt and property, but they have time. They have all the time in the world since the world is forced to rely on their manufacturing capability to supply the worlds products.
This makes the Chinese very patient, and very wealthy at the same time.

the average life there is poor and miserable, and that wealth is not available to the full 1 billion of its people. It's in there interest to reduce their population anyway; it's a fact that as they grow they are going to have huge resource problems that will cripple them... from food to commodities, and that makes them a danger to the world, bc who knows what they'll do when that problem hits. As a whole they may be wealthy, but when you spread that wealth over a billion, they are poor.

well, hell... it'd be a good way to reduce their population, an I guarantee you that 1 American soldier could kill 1000's of theirs... but I'm being facetious and I don't want to see that outcome. Socialists are monetary oriented, but socially progressive which eventually result in ineffective, corrupt social programs. and Marxism isn't even in the same socio economic system! So, it has no relevance. Maybe you mean communism... which is just state run capitalism... but marxism, which advocates the removal of money and government entirely... i don't see how relates.

"The system", The monetary system, was created in a time of scarcity, to give people an incentive to do labor. Its creates a hierarchy, and people are supposed to compete to get to the top. So, its based on self interest. Not holistic interests. Therefore, the system is based on corruption, lying, cheating, stealing, and dishonesty -because fundamentally it separates the whole. Its division. So... Trying to put socialism, which is holistic, in a monetary system cannot work- it gets torn apart.

we still live in a world of scarcity, especially with 5 billion people; an it's only going to get worse... barring some serious crazy inventions that solve the problem. The way of ascent is also the way of descent. True self interest is the same as selflessness. People are the problem; not systems... arguing about systems shifts the blame away from ourselves and onto something else. Systems and philosophies at best steer the hive mind in a better direction.

There is nothing but unlimited in potential production of goods and services with our level of knowledge. Of course, money itself is scarce, but the potential of resources are abundant, however, its not profitable to present them that way. Arguing about systems puts the blame directly on the people because their daily actions perpetuate the social systems. Self interest is interest in a part of the whole, whereas selflessness is interest in the whole. One is false division, the other is unity

Pretty much all videos don't update their view-counts in real time - I am quite sure this is because, unlike the rating and comment functions, the View function takes into account other websites that have links to youtube videos - Don't just blindly get paranoid over something that you haven't personally investigated, otherwise you've quite completely missed the point of watching videos like this!

Lately I have been noticing slowdowns in connection speed when viewing certain videos on youtube. Has anybody else had this experience? Today, I watched a ton of Frank Zappa videos that were loading at darn near the data rate that I am paying for (it never seems to match the advertised rate). Then, when I watch the Fall of the Republic, my data rate is at only 30% of my average. Also, I notice that the next video in the sequence is harder to find than most other sequential video posts. WTF?

Mrfranxs, this happens on all youtube vids that get a lot of quick views. When you wake up in the morning check the views again and you will see it spike dramatically.
Not everything is a gov't conspiracy, folks. What makes me the expert...well i've been on youtube for a few years and have seen over 40 thousand vids. I thought it might be censorship, but realized it was nothing more than my own paranoia. Google however has supposedly reset the view count on some google videos.
