TOI's report on a new book written on Gandhi. The review says that the book says that the Gandhi was a bisexual. Now im not in a possition to pass a judgement whether he was or not. I would just leave it for now and see how much truth is behind all this.
Gandhi was a great guy and i like his ideology for an extent. But i got no prob if he was a Bisexual, i respect every one regardless of these prejudice.

However you have yet to provide any constructive alternative solutions to create jobs, increase economic growth, and reduce poverty. India tried socialism and protectionism for decades which ultimately led the country to near bankruptcy. Only in the last 2 decades since India opened up its economy has it witnessed faster growth rates of 6% & above, more job creation, and higher GDP.

Do you think me as India policy maker or what? Is India lacking intellectuals and thinkers? India dont need me to tell them what to do with there own people and there people. It needs only to apply some method which is not forgotten. How about getting rid of corruption and building more hospitals, where you will need atleast thousands of doctors and more than thousands of male and female nurse. How about issuing a plane to connect India from all sides, which will employ millions.

@roundaworld Your rather eloquent but none the less totally shallow concern for the well being of Indians underscores an ignorance of the current happenings in India. Already a campaign is underway by the Indian judiciary, media, and opposition parties to combat corruption. In the current five year plan as stated by secretariat for infrastructure over 500 billion dollars in investments is being earmarked for everything from roads, railways, airports,sea port modernizations, and electric power.

Corruption, exists in Hindu/Indian mentality, read the book called "Being Indian" the writer has given all the accounts and acknowledgement of exactly how and what he means by saiyng Indians are capable and in many way they justify the corruption for ganing power. You are, as i can see, unaware of facts known by other Indians.

Just as Born Jewish Americans love Israel, Born Muslim Americans love Arabia, us proud Born Hindu Americans also love India as it is our holy land and birth place of our faith.The real question you should be asking if India is so bad why didn't the 150 million Indian Muslims leave the country or why 20 million Muslims from Bangladesh cross over into India and not go to the Shariat sewers like Pakistan or Saudi Arabia ??

There are difference between loving the country you live or born and praising it even though it is not worth. This is called blindfolded, who believes anything everything which is told to him. Well, i dont have anything against india, and dont be mistaken by my massages because it is not because of hatred but because i see what is going on in India. Now in your case, you are not a born American, but an immigrant who hates other immigrants and there point of view if its is different.

150 million muslims who live in india, you trace back there root in India, as you may not know, Muslims in india exist sicne 6th century. This makes India there home and they have all right to live there as well as criticize it if they have problem.
What you cant stand is, why inspite of all propaganda, Islam is prevailing. This fact is actually not ruining only your life but thousands like you. So i would say, deal with it because there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

Where scandles revail and corruption exists in the mentality of its people no combat method or no commission can stop it. Govt. tells you fantasy and you believe, thats how you are, thats how you have been programmed and will always remain.

Half of the population is illiterate.
More than half lives under poverty line.
Millions of Child labour.
Corruption level beyond the human imagination.
No electricity in rural India, most of the part is still in darkeness, as the dark ages were never gone.
Only in Mumbai the number of slum dwellers crosse millions. For them there is nothing, they dont evne know how it is to have a tap inside the house, a toilet, 24 hours fresh water, playing grounds for there kids, Tsche Thsce.

Do you really think so, then it means for these 100 years India did not change it self. India is still living in stone age if you only bother to go to a village where there is no propper road system, sanitary system, people go to shit in the field where they harvest. No fresh water supply, no proper school for them and not to mention every year thousand dies of TB.
Oh ya, india is still living in the stone age.
