Amazing footage.... What on earth were those 3 dials the pilot keeps twisting in the middle frantically? (The red/blue/yellow knobs)

The knobs are throttle pitch & mixture.

Throttle is pushed in for full throttle, the pitch and the fuel/air mixture are adjusted for maximum performance throughout the race. All this occurs at 200MPH 30 feet above the ground.

Good catch. On my keyboard the 2 is right next to the 3 I was aiming for.

It should have read... All this occurs at 300MPH 30 feet above the ground.
