Here I was expecting to think "Meh, good cover, but nothing comes close to the original." This does not come close to the original, because that wasn't the intent. This was your own juice in there (Hendrix-inspired of course). Most folks try to copy, and very obviously avoid the hard parts because they are hard. You just did your own jive and avoided the problem. This is now one of my favorite covers on YouTube by anyone. Really was not expecting this at all. Thank you for sharing this!

naw- it's standard tuning, though down a semi tone is nice, cause strings are looser (and thus easier to play!)

What I find amazing is that although your doing a Hendrix cover I don't feel as if I'm hearing another guy playing a Hendrix song. You've got all your own sound and feel going on. Kind of the way Stevie Ray Vaughan had his own sound even though he was doing so much of Albert Kings stuff. I'd have to say your one of the better guitarist I've ever seen and heard-so much feeling -awesome!

Its a variax...cant tell if its a 300 or 600 though. The amp is just as important as the guitar for sound as well.
