Yamaha Vino in an elevator A YOUTUBE FIRST! @ 5000 miles!

I read on the Yamaha website the Vino gets an estimated 110mpg (2011 model). I start driving in a year with a permit - would a Vino be my best bet, or should I get a car since someone has to be with me with a permit?

I thought you were going to stunt jump it off a ramp. Very entertaining video. My Vino 125 already has 10 k on it and I've had it just under 2 years. Very fun ride might get a bigger ride though prolly Morphous.

Scooters are nice machines. However, you really can't get up to highway speed with those. They are great for getting around town due to that you are really not going all that fast. They can be used for running some errands such as to the bank, and the post office.

Actually, there are PLENTY of scooters that do more than highway speeds. This little Vino 50 may not be able to, but a Honda Reflex 250 will hit 80mph, A Vespa GT200 will do the same, and a GTS250 can hit 85mph! Then you get the scooters like the PIaggio MP3 500 that can easily top 110mph, the Suzuki Bergman 650cc that does...well... far better and faster, and all the Italian designs in between. Scooters aren't slow bikes like everyone in the US thinks.

I have that exact same scooter only i use mine for work so it's not in the best of shape..

Only question how did you get it to pull up the ramp like that..

My scooter can't take hills at all.. the restricter is off the exhost on my bike..

I had my exhaust and transmission restrictors taken out. It is a fun bike and will cruise around 40 once everything is nice and warm.. do you have any pix or video of your bike?
