  • Thanks! This solved my problem, with an additional step. I have a Toshiba Satellite P35-S609. I run the laptop on AC almost always, but it would frequently & randomly revert to running off battery on it's own and not charge (even tho AC adapter still plugged in & delivering current). I disabled "Toshiba Power Saver" factory software & allowed Windows XP to manage power. Doing that, combined with your procedure, solved the problem!

  • MINE, was the"WIEREST"of all.First i diconnected my AC ADAPTER,after i took/plug off my battery of my laptop and then i waited 1/2 minutes. It didn't worked for me(i said)I tried another method.i went to device manager and i unistalled Microsoft ACPI...and then nothing but THEN..i reconnect the AC ADAPTER and "AGAIN NOTHING(lol sry guys)BUT I FINALLY GOT IT!.I disable AC ADAPTER 1/2/3....AND IT FINALLY WORKED.i was so fuck*** HAPPY!

**Hope it helps u guys,oh and if helped subscribe, comment,RATE!.
