I think that uke's reaction to the strike to the neck was a bit over exaggerated. I've been struck with kyusho techniques, including that one, and not had that kind of reaction--the closest has been when my instructor strikes multiple points in rapid-enough succession to cause nervous system shock and my legs turn to jello, but I recover easily enough on my own. That said, I don't see anything wrong with the techniques demonstrated in this video beyond the reaction of uke.
Real goju will not as some nut on here mentioned, injure someone when they are demonstrating kata bunkai. When demonstrating you are simply showing how the techniques might work...and of course , you do not actually kill your partner in the demonstration.
Real Goju-ryu Bunkai will say: grab and break arm at the elbow (instead of tapping gently at the base of arm), and break his neck (not tap him gently in the face), and stomp his head when he's on the ground (instead of trying to revive him). This is rubbish.
