Mr Bush has made such a mess of things and left a Colossal mess behind and remember he is still in the house until January. I think Obama has proved that he walks his talk by winning this election which seemed so unlikely at the start. If you watch this interview in the context of today's events, a lot of what Mr. Obama said came true. He is the combination of a very smart guy, with a great amount of Humanity towards his fellow man. Alot of his ideas are spot on. For example, the idea that one of the real problems facing the U.S. and the West in general, is the fact that China is beating the crap out of us productivity wise. This is one of the causes of the current financial crisis. This man addresses the real issues!!

Largely by discussion in the international community, blogs...these things build interest and receptivity. I would think of campaign donations as another direct route as, frankly, money plays a huge role still in our system. Not sure as to the legalities of foreign contributions, but tend to believe it's possible.

I'm just sayin, Kennedy and Reagan had little experience, both performed reasonably well. And this guy is obviously the Kennedy of our generation. And I don't think Obama would have much control over what contracts go to who when the vp is getting thrown millions from said corporations. I admit I actually believe in Obama's rhetoric, which depending who you are is inspiring or hollow. Joe Klein from Time put it perfectly 'hope is a language of the young, and Obama is quite fluent.'

Frank Luntz, a linguist whose been working for the party for years, has done a lot to help them do that.

George Lakoff is doing that footwork for the Democrats today. It's likely to still take them some time to catch up.
