What kind of hours does the average NZ trucker work ?

@ShalloeThought 60-70 hours a week. Max 5.5 hours then 30min break, 10 hour break after 13 hours worktime. 24hour break after 70 hours. Worktime (loading/cleaning/paperwork) and driving time are now all worktime. Pay can be good with right operator but you'll work hard for it.

@R580NZ Thanx ! Hours sound quite harsh tho ive done the same here in Germany. Nice that work isnt just time at the wheel, though i suppose lots start their official day after the trucks first loading is finished ? Pay here also varies between well paid hard work or serious rip of hard work.. But i suppose my dream of a well paid 10 hour day wont work that side
