This feels a little bit like Ozzy singing something from heaven and hell. They are both great singers, but have some different styles and this one is written for the voice of Vescara
Man I wish they would re-record this song. I personally deeply disliked Vescara. Maybe if he was in a band like say "Dragonforce" his voice would fit, but Mioru's voice just fits perfect for Loudness. In my opinion.
Thanks for posting this vid. Love the old Loudness (hate to say it but I cannot listen to anything they did after their early metal days, they went way too pop for me).
What the hell? Lol dang, the original solo has got to be one of my most fav. solos out there, with the fingertapping and everything, but this guy had to replace it with some trashy, grundge type of blues solo.
Well, its a good thing youtube still has the original performances.
FUCK!!!! THIS SONG SUCKS!!!!!! or maybe i say: THIS VERSION SUCKS.!! Loudness int the past are relly really very cool, with michael vescera :). but this time.. They sucks at all.. only... Hear the solo.. sounds like a.... Improvisation... and a very bad ..
they are soo underrated, most japanese metal bands are invisible in America. Most are better than some classic american bands, but they are left un-heard.
I think Loudness was trying to be like every 80's band at the time this song came out. i hear some Iron Maiden a little Judas Priest in the faster songs, and a LOT of Van Halen. that pretty much died in 1992 though....
Once upon a time they were all that but now they are old hat...Dreaming of the day when youth ruled the day and suddenly vanity and such took it's toll
Oh he did. Niihara was Loudness's first singer, who was replaced by Vescera for the Soldier of Fortune album. Vescara was replaced by Masaki Yamada from their self-titled album until the 'Loud 'N Raw' album, after which Niihara rejoined the band. Sorry, didn't mean to cause any confusion.
There isn't such a fact, I like them both, they sound entirely different. It's true that Niihara used to have better voice in 80s but this is still good.
I agree i love them both, I like Niihara's accent added to the Band. When i first heard of loudness i heard him then Mike. I like that he was a Japanesse singer but my opinion they are both good.
I hate to say this, but Minoru doesn't have the energy he used to have in the 1980s. Mike Vescera still does and he could still power this song like he did in 1989!
First time i hear this version..and i must agree.....Mike rocks at this song!! This song just doesn't sound as great with minoru's vocals. The original song Rocked!!! But hey its still loudness! They rock no matter what!!
