anybody else think it was odd that they say the jeep didnt make it but, theres a jeep at the top and they forgot to show the jeep "failing" to make it?
@jcaled24 Try watching part 1 where you will see your requested jeep "failing". I am sure you will then say something like the Jeep driver was clueless or that the FJ had more momentum (which it didn't). The fact is the Jeep didn't perform as well. However, this means nothing. Have fun with what you brung
FJ's have their place but Yesterday we recovered an FJ Cruiser that went over the edge of a 60 foot cliff into a riverbed. It would have been impossible to recover without our Jeeps. the width of the trail plus the weight and location of the lost rig would have made it damn near impossible to do the job with any other vehicle. long live Jeep. (93' YJ wrangler 4 inch lift + 33'' tires, stock 4.0L, WARN M8274-50 winch.)
quit bitching, they are both good offroad...the jeep (IMO) has more capabilities due to having a solid front axel, but the fj can still hang with an equally modded jeep on any trail...btw i have an fj lol
And in turn the FJ sees better on-road handling. Toyota wants to build a product capable of venturing off-road nicely but can afford the IFS because they do not have an off-road following that Jeep does. Perhaps the easiest way to piss of Jeepers would be to change the Wrangler to IFS, so it'll never happen. It's about loyalty, tradition, and building an off-road specific vehicle, whereas Toyota is doing it in reverse. Unmodified they come close in the end
no shit dude, its a joke, ofcourse the rubicon is better offroad, but not that much considering how much better the fj is on road...i mean lets face it, what percentage do you think people spend on road verses off???
I doubt that's the fjs first try

@inthetwisties Wow! And from an FJ'er!

that's silly, rubicon is a lot better than an FJ, just the rubicon driver relied on the locks and did not gain speed, like the FJ.
driver error not lack of vehicle "capabilities"
