This was an excellent show - Let down by a terrible, completely apathetic protagonist. If he'd any motivation at all, it would have been way better. The worldbuilding was fantastic, however.

c, this was easily one of the best shows this season, I liked everything about it but it feels like they rushed the last 2 episodes, they really needed more time to flesh this story out because the ending is the one bad thing about it.

@edl01reviews Exactely my thoughts, [C] would have GREATLY profitted from a ful 23 episodes run, you could clearly tell that the producers ran out of time for more indepth character developement and elaborate fight sceens in the middle of the shows and especially had no time left at all for an ending of grandieur that would have been really fitting for this INCREDIBLY WELL DONE SHOW (seriously, WATCH IT RIGHT NOW, IT'S A BREEZE ! )

Awesome Opening of an amzing anime, I highly recommend buying this on DVD for anyone who remotely likes anime !

It would have really benefited from having 23 episodes though, more character developement and in-between-action in the mid-section of the anime would have been nice, the ending felt a bit rushed too . . .

Still an amazing, intelligent, highly compelling anime with great style, insane visuals and nice, short, action-packed fight scenes !

@knightpnyou I completely agree. There are a lot of アニメ that are around 26 episodes long, and they are usually much more enjoyable than アニメ with 100+ episodes. They definitely don't drag on and they have plenty of time to go through an interesting, thought-out story with believable and unique characters. They also leave you feeling like the story will continue on but they don't need to show it continuing on.

@TotallyzAwkwardz That is what I enjoy about Japanese shows and movies. They don't believe in going from start to a definite finish, they like to make the story feel almost endless, like the world continues to exist on past the last episode or the end of the movie. 宮崎駿(Hayao Miyazaki) is an exception to this. He prefers the North American beginning to ending style. There is nothing wrong with that though. I love Miyazaki's films, I just personally enjoy it when stories feel endless.

The anime seems interesting, but way too rushed. I start an episode and feel like a large part of the story and character development has been skipped. I can only assume that it was only given 12 episodes for the whole story, which is a poor decision on the part of the creators. This anime will never become a big hit simply because too much is lost.

Annoying characters (Like Jennifer Satou, I find it so annoying that she eats something everytime she talks), I don't like the Character Design (It looks like a 5 year old drew them), I don't really like the plot, lack of emotion in the characters, and the english voices suck so bad.
