  • I have to ask how on earth you were able to do all of this. I just noticed the irony of that statement. But I still need to know how you went about making this possible. The makeup alone must have cost a fortune, let alone paying all of the actors.

  • Poofs would never get married

  • Not to insult gays or anything....but all I can think of when they mentioned their honeymoon & the commander said "I'm sorry "gentlemen...". In my head I keep hearing R. Lee Ermey say: "'I'm sorry "ladies", but you have orders. Now get you candy asses out there & fulfill your military objective, you sniveling maggots!" LOL. It's a little weird seeing gays on Star Trek, but very realistic considering that "Don't Ask Don't Tell" is no longer military policy & it's 3+ centuries in the future.

  • 4 Pina Coladas and dude was out all afternoon? Jeez. Talk about a light-weight, hehehe

  • So the leader chic from Blue Man Group is a pedophile then, or what?

  • So bring me two pina coladas

    One for each hand

Let's set sail with Captin Morgan

    And never leave dry land

  • @mroracal lmao!!!!!!

  • what a wonderful discovery, I'm glad I found this on youtube. Love the story, love the ships - brilliant.

It's just a pity that you have attracted the comments of a few small minded twits who obviously would wet their pants in fear if they even saw two men even hold hands.

  • Yes! Yes! An on screen homosexual relationship. Not just mentioned in the books or hinted at!

  • Ignorants not Ignoramus

  • I read the comments before watching the video and I must say WOW... We've got a bunch of fuckin ignoramus on here. Based on their comments I was expecting to see a fuckin gay porn but no.. We get to see a same-sex belana-Tom counterpart. It's not more blatant than they were on voy so STFU!

  • Someone once asked Gene Roddenberry a question, on why Captain Picard was bald, and why in the future their wasn't a cure for it. Gene replied with 'Because in the future, people won't care' I believe he would say the same thing about Homosexuality. Even today, people are opening their minds to it. Like me for example, I am straight, and totaly okay with gay people. Their just like us, and shouldn't need a label. I am glad you included it in this fan movie :)

  • CAPTAIN: "Ensign; Ahead warp factor 6 into Uranus."

ENSIGN: "But Captain, that atmosphere wasn't meant for starships. We could be torn apart by the toxic gases.

CAPTAIN: "Ensign, we have to make up for a crap production, stilted dialogue and cheesy special effects and the only way to do this is to have gay scene. This way we can be controversial, even though it has nothing to do with the actual story.

ENSIGN: "Aye, Captain. Plotting course into Uranus"

CAPTAIN: "Steady as she goes Ensign."

  • @dwilmer7 Sorry...what exactly have you produced? Other than your overly elaborate and thinly veiled insult that is.

  • Enough with the gay couple. You made a point, move on. You want to make a point about equal rights/human rights then take a hard look at Darfur, Haiti, China, or the Middle East. Now you're just pandering.

  • Amazing effects / ship action. Big DS9 fan. I recall the Jadzia Dax episode where she kissed her female ex. Trek has always been on the edge. Your fan film definitely ruffled feathers.

  • I have nothing wrong with straight people, some of my best friends are straight. Do they have to shove it down our throats though? (Yes...that is exactly how stupid you sound.)

  • homosexuality makes me confused. If there are two males how can they define "male" among each other? The same goes with the female. Male is definitely defined as the counterpart of the female, and vice versa. Either can not defined without the other. So how is this sexual identity thing working among homosexuals? What is a homosexual anyway, since the word "sexual" can't be defined within it anyway?

  • All the gay parts make it very hard to watch!

  • Gay bit not necessary. Looks more like a statement and takes away from actual story.

  • star treck gay

  • @arcnglrafael star trek gay spelling

  • Since the Federation has be left to the fans and TV has gone to commercials longer than the programs they portend to support, why not! A kind of internet revolt against what ad slut TV has become. It's like watching congress, should be doing something better but you'll never see it happen... I wish you luck with this! All the best!

  • I like this but my only problem is.....In 90% of star trek i have seen there has never been ANY couple that romantically close to one another in that way....we KNEW about who was messing with who in Star trek but except for the newer series, it was never handled on screen this way....I will keep watching but I am not into the agenda pushing thing...be gay and move on....

Seems to be a cross between LEXX and Star Trek

  • let the gays go be free, but the reason i dont like this tone is that ; who is the sci fi target audiance? hetro nerdboys like myself. show me the green skined babes already not two dudes in a lip lock. yuck:(

  • I have no problem with gay people but did you have to make it so blatant.

Not everyone approves of this shit especially in an otherwise fine show.

  • Ha ha ha! This is nothing but slash fanfic on video....for those of you who enjoy it, good luck to you.....afraid I can't take it seriously though.

  • Gay Star trek!!!!!!! it was bound to happen!!

  • great work on the graphics, but take out the gay part, please!!!!!!

  • i`ve no problem with gays butt in this case the gayy commanders ruin the story they transform a good story into a 3rd class trek gay porn^^

  • okay dumb ass i only ment that i will not read your response in my in box you cock sucker just to be clear for the rest of you gay trekies watching two guys kiss is gross im sorry if you feel differently

  • Laughable acting but a pretty good plot none the less...

  • That looks like the Station Ticonderoga from Starship troopers.

  • This is great! The acting is horrible, but I applaud the effort. Plan to watch any and all available episodes. Maybe you guys can come back at a later time and clean up the scripts and employ better CG. I'm hoping the acting will get better, but me likes!

  • broke back Star Trek??? Gross

to all you open minded Trekies don't bother responding I'll just delete it

  • @mroracal You know all you're doing by saying "gross" is pointing out your own lack of emotional maturity, for all the world to see.

I'm not sure why you think you can delete anything off someone else's video.

  • Right when I was starting to think startrek wasn't gay... What do I see? A buncha fags in this video... fucking nasty man....

  • Ok I get that they are gay, but why are they attached at the hip in every single scene? Might as well cast them as Siamese twins. Just comes off as childish, hard to believe they are married.

  • Well it seems that the homosexuality seems to be the main point of all the comments...I have an opinion about that, but that is just that, my opinion( I don't agree with it but I am not threatened by it either)...Storywise, the concept is awesome, and it is worth viewing on the effects alone. For a fanfilm it's above average, for Trek somewhat (forgive the pun) Out there.

  • gay trek the next penetration, it looks like 1 scented candle away from being 24th century porn, theres nothibg wrong with gays just tone it down

  • I have no problem with gays, except when they shove it in your face like this show does.

Liked the first part, but will not watch anymore now.

  • This isn't the only one of these shows of his that has a bunch of gays in it. Amateurs or not enough is enough ...

  • I guess that Starfleet hasn't adopted a policy of "don't ask don't tell."

  • U do realise this is a fan show in which all the people involves are all fans of trek and no one is getting paid right?

  • Twisted Trek....what is this... sexual entitlement trek.......bad acting, bad morals, bad show...not showing my kids.

not watching anymore. disapointed in the producers for acctually signing off on this show!

  • Well I watched the first and got all excited, then the second part just shot it all down for me. I was really hoping this show would be more from the Romulan prospective, but the first battle was kinda cool.

  • oh and as for all the gay stuff, well the ship is named Odyssey.

  • Pina Colada? What happened to synthohol? Considering the Federation is at war, why are they talking about honeymoons? What kind of sense of duty does Star Fleet have here? Very amateurish and juvenile scripting. The female antagonist- horrible, horrible acting.

  • Wow. You nerds have the balls to make ignorant, baseless, backward thinking statements about homosexuality, while watching a show about humans interacting with alien species while flying through the galaxy in spaceships? S-T-U-P-I-D. You probably also believe in a god who is a white dude and who looks human. Oh, and highlander38...do you know something that the entire medical and research community does not? If moron were a species...you'd be the king, dude.

  • that was awesome

  • @VIFFVDTCED

I second it. This is the second fan-based Star Trek I've seen where homosexuality is openly accepted in society. In Star Trek Phase 2, Kirk's nephew happens to be homosexual as well.

  • @innes123 = Ignorances is in the foolish comment that people like you makes. If you can't say anything positive then just shut the f**k up! I am willing to bet that you can't do better little boy!!

  • @Countryboiful = Like I'm going take someone with the moniker "Countryboiful" seriously. Let me guess...you'd prefer an inter-species love story line between...say...a country boi and a sheep? Get real and join the 21st century, dude. From your reaction and language...I'm going guess you never made it past the 7th grade, or you were home schooled by your redneck mother who, ironically, didn't believe in the "theory" of evolution, let alone aliens or a universe older than 10K yrs. You're a joke.

  • @innes123 Do you do anything other than insult people you disagree with or do you ever get around to making an actual point? Funny how you "tolerant" types only tolerate those that think like you. As for macro evolution, got more holes than swiss cheese, and is every bit as dogmatic as any other religion.

Newsflash! Charles Darwin was a Christian when he died, and never believed in macro evolution anyway. He spoke of micro evolution. Oh no! a Christian who knows science, what are ya gonna do

  • @innes123 Talking stupid, I agree with you. homosexuality should be proven as a genetic issue, then they should be brought together freely. That would be the end of discussion because they can exist only one generation. Now, for the bi-sexuals, they should do the same and they should have their own planet. Finding a habitable planet should be a gift from heterosexuals to bi-sexuals. They can produce their own civilization in another galaxy. So, everyone will be happy.

  • @innes123 God looks human . Read the bible. Moses saw the back of God.Jesus sits at the right hand of God.

  • god this sucks, gays and crap actors im gonna turn off now before the blind lesbian muslims get shown

  • what the hell with the gays?!

pah, i could put up with the bridge effects being a bit behind the times, but seriously that takes the utter piss.

looks they had an ok plot too, shame i wont be watching the rest

  • wtf is up with all the red neck comments?! OMG Gays, oh no! Seriously, wtf! get over it! You sound like bigots who opposed African Americans being depicted on television. And the comment about homosexuality being an illness?! How dumb and white trash are you?! It's really sad people not learning from Star Trek's message of tolerance and acceptance.

  • As Homosexuality is, in and of itself a chemical imbalance, and thereby an illness, and so, by the 24th century humanity will have long since cured it's diliterious effects... In point of fact, it is curable now.. however, current politics prohibit it's inception..

  • you're an idiot

  • Queers on Star Trek, blasphemy! Gene Rodenberry just rolled in his....space.

  • There gay? That's a first on Star Trek. very disturbing.

  • I gotta ask (and I'm not predjudace or anything, i'm just against the whole "gay" thing) are the creators of this whole fan video gay?

  • yeah it is. it's like jamming homosexuality down peoples throats. the vast majority of people do not want to see that crap.

  • @thanks51 But I'm sure if it was 2 women you would be dying to see it right?

  • I was a bit disturbed at first of the gay content, but then again the new titan series does this in triplicate. The series is pretty good....keep it up.

  • This is very well done and the story works well, too. Sadly, I feel as some others do about the same sex relationship in the storyline. None of the other shows or movies focused so much time on ANY personal relationships. There would occassionaly be an episode that did but not every one. Having this couple show up every now and again would have been great. This makes it look like your trying too hard.

  • This Star Trek Universe is too gay - and I don't like it - however, the ships and the starbase is pretty good. Even the uniforms are pretty convincing.

  • This star trek universe is so gay. don't get me wrong, I like it.. but the prevalence of homosexuality in ST:O is astounding; like every second person.

  • This should almost be called Homo Trek.........talking about probes and the gay couple.........I can't help but laugh.

  • gay people always have to make a fucking spectacle of being gay.

  • To Thanks51: I totally disagree. I'm actually gay myself, I just think that ST HF should reflect the actual proportion of different sexualities in society.

Gay people are about 3-4% of the population, not the oft quoted 10%.. and so having like 30% gay people in ST HF and spin offs, I just don't like it.

Having said that, this is an extremely minor complaint. I"m loving the work they are doing.

  • Is this a 100% internet-based show? Wow. Props to you if it is. That's a lot of work to go to for that.

  • Dude! Someone finally had the balls to push the envelope! That's classic Star Trek! Race, feminism, the cold war... The Great Bird tackled it all. I've enjoyed most of the new Trek, but somehow, it hasn't had the punch of the original.

  • Man... fuck guys! Good job, I'm highly impressed with the show! Fantastic visuals, good story telling DS9esque, its not classic Trek but its intriguing. I like it, looking forward to more, especially with the lack of new Trek on TV these days. But slipstream? It seems that a lot has happened in this universe since. I have a lot to catch up on.

  • Why dont you guys join a forum and go flame each other and have this discussion there instead?

Aren't you getting distracted a little from the brilliant visuals and attention to detail of this film? And in the future, who's to say that all of the moral and ethical values that we claim to have nowadays won't be obsolete by the 24th Century? But after all, aren't all of the issues in this film intended to provoke a reaction anyway? In my opinion you are doing nothing except arguing a mute point.

  • Plus your'e on the internet!!! Did you not expect someone to have conflicting views of your opinion? The entire seven billion people that live on this planet probably won't think the same as you. The whole point of Cinema is that the author tells you his or her story, as they intended to tell it. If you didn't like it or didn't get the point of the story, then it clearly wasn't intended for you.

  • Ok, so discussing something that is remotely related to the video we're watching shouldn't be going on here. Why have comments? If it's so beneath you, why get involved?

  • Marriage! Around half the definitions describe it as a union between two people, yes the other half say man and woman. Isn't it a choice. After all historically people have married animals as part of religious traditions. So the definition was changed to specify persons, sometimes with gender sometimes not.

  • that said..i also believe that the homosexual community is made up of males only...and to clarify that i would have to say a female being bi curious or all together gay wouldnt make her a homosexual...part of feminine principle is suduction..and anticipation..completely from a male prospective it turns males on to watch two females touch or kiss one another...to learn the art you must learn from one who knows the art of suduction and much like playing an instrument.. practice makes perfect..

  • i just gave you 4 really good reasons in less then 5 minutes.. now how u feel? i do feel being gay is totally wrong..i also believe it is a sickness passed on to us by the nephlim along with cannibalizim..and there are plenty of repupital people and books around *other then the bible* that would agree with me..although i am not a bible thumper there is great wisdom there..or in your case warnings..

  • Homosexuality is not a sickness at all. This is proven by many scientific studies, and many parliaments in many countries have depenalised homosexual acts and behaviour. And by the way, I don't think any homosexual should be 'warned' by anything else than his or her own wisdom. Grow up, PaperMetel !

  • You didn't give one good reason, you seem to have the definition of good all mixed up in your head, however going by how narrow minded one appears to be this does not surprise me at all.

  • The homosexual community does not just want acceptance for same sex marriage, they want to redefine marriage. Should it not seem odd that the definition of the institution of marriage, as being between a man and woman, for the past 6000 years is being thrown out for something less than what is natural and stable? The agenda of same sex marriage proponents is to redefine marriage altogether which undermines the most stable form of marriage as being between one man and one woman.

  • As much as 33% of child molestation is committed by homosexuals, and yet they only make up about 3% of our population.

  • I can pull some numbers out of my prejudice as well, but it doesn't make them accurate. It just shows what a git I am.

  • Logically speaking, if everyone's sexuality was expressed heterosexually, then humanity will survive and perpetuate our own kind for generations to come. But simply put, if everyone's sexuality was expressed homosexually, we would go extinct. Therefore homosexuality is counter productive to the survival of the human race.

  • Logically speaking that could be extented to anyone who doesn't or can't have kids, what are talking about a culling? The old, mentally ill, feeble, sterile. Oh I know, I know. Let's build big camps to "keep" them in!

  • 33% now that's high! strange though most evidence from reasonable sources, universities and such, don't feel that pedophiles are either sraight or gay. Shocking I know! You see they haven't matured enough to feel sexual towards any adults male or female their sexuality is limited to children. largly the same sex as the dominate parent or guardian because it's farmilier. Not due to orientation.

  • A societal acceptance of same sex relationships gives vulnerable children the impression that same sex relationships are good, moral and healthy. Not only does the Bible condemn such behavior, but medical professionals have affirmed that these kinds of sexual relationships are unhealthy. A society that accepts immoral relationships cause children to stumble into immorality

  • I was going to let this go but what the hell.

Thuzan117 asked for "ONE good scientific and rational reason", children having the impression on a subject that agrees with their peers is a good thing! What medical professionals? I get lectures from the ones I've seen about smoking, drinking, drugs, fat, STDs etc. but never on giving blow jobs and anal sex. Immoral? If society accepts it, it isn't immoral. UK Death penalty immoral, Most of USA moral.

  • This is EXTREMELY well done.. I REALLY like this...

  • Guess the man in the A galaxy are whimps they must be conseravtives

  • theres fucking gay people in this? goddamnit gays will stop their wrongdoing eventually i guess.

  • junior bush is gay

  • what does bush have to do with this?

  • dude, give me one, ONE good scientific and rational reason why homosexuality is wrong, JUST ONE. if you can do that i will be impressed.

  • Absolutely; the Federation has been about tolerance since its initial foundings. So it wouldn't surprise me if there were characters in the Star Trek universe, not just Starfleet, but others who are gay.

  • yeah, it tolerates everyone...as long as they submit to the Federation's standards of "humans first", "the human is always right" and "humans are gods". those who don't (the klingons, the romulans, the maquis) are considered evil, though they aren't.

  • I suppose all the starfleet admirals can't be bothered with minor matters like invasion from Andromeda...

    Still lovin' it.

  • I didn't see that coming.

  • gays in Star trek, that´s something new and I like it !

  • Me too. I believe it should be something to be introduced in the actual canon.

  • Ooops, forgot Scotty

Scotty: "I canna change the laws of nature!"

  • Kirk: "umm... Bones? Uh oh"

    Bones: "He's gay, Jim!"

    Spock: "Fascinating..."

Chekhov: "I am looking for a wessel..."

    Sulu: 'About time!"

    Uhuru: "Damn!"

  • lol gay but, nice series !

  • love it

  • wtf there are to be no homo shit on star trek, what the hell. No man No!

  • Isn't this supposed to be a more non racist, non ignorance time.

  • listen ive watched star trek since i was a kid and loved it. let your kids watch this and be ok with it. i dont have anything against gay people but they just need to stay on earth and not on a star ship. live long and prosper.

  • actually, i've watched many episodes of all the star treks, and there have been many Federation people who are racists, ignorant and very "anti-utopian".

that's why i wrote Star Trek: Conflict.

  • I am a big Star Trek fan. For the most part I like this movie, but I have to agree with the comments about the open displays of sexuality. such displays would not be appropriate for a straight or gay relationship on a federation vessel. some of the acting is a little weak. But I like the movie anyway. Good luck with future projects.

  • Wasn't the entire point of Star Trek to show the Human race co existing peacefully with one another without bigoted arseholes passing comment on other peoples way of life?

  • nice movie what happen to dont ask dont tell?

  • THE NEXT FAG FRONTIER

  • They were but reall alcohol is still available, ask a Ferengi!

    What do you have gentleman?

    A hangover sir!

  • "The alien probe was able to gather.." Alien probe??? Which alien race?? It had Federation insignia on it!

  • DS9 had hot women making out, I saw no hommos (if there where any at all, I must have missed that epsiode - lucky me).

  • What the Rodenberry ? This should be called "Brokeback Trek". Whats next Gay Klingons engaging in B&D, Romulan Transvestites ? It's a shame because the CGI and the storyline are very good indeed.

  • No the Gay klingon was in Hidden Frontier

  • I watched more, then watched the spin off. It seems that a Gay Klingon did indeed save that hommo. Now he (the hommo) is searching for his lost hommo lover, love story style - what the Rodenberry ?

  • What... a story line can not be good with gay characters?? Tosser!

  • What is it with the PC token gay guys showing up in every movie, sitcom, drama, and now fan films? Why the hell would I as a fan want to imagine those two dudes packing eachother on the halodeck? I couldn't even finish the vid. Fricken weirdos.

  • So you're saying that there should be no gays in ANY programme AT ALL? That's not ba reflection of reality.

  • No I didn't say that, but now that you mention it, that does sound like a good idea.

  • god. GAY PEOPLE AND STAR TREK DONT MIX!

  • will there be lesbians?

  • Somebody please shoot me...compared to New voyages this sucks big time..

  • This, in comparison to Star Trek: Hidden Frontier is pretty good. But this is still horrible. Why are those two characters gay? I am no homophobe, but I think homosexuality is unacceptable, and I have never seen a more disgusting display in my entire life. How can someone take Star Trek and make something so completely vulgar?

  • look i know it's strange, but hey what is star trek aboout: the acception of others without preconception.

  • I know what you mean, but I don't see what the point of haveing two gays as the main characters?

  • You claim not to be a homophobe but you claim homosexuality is unacceptable. You contradict yourself.

    Anyway, why not have gays?

  • That's right why not have gays? that seid you did not see part 3 when you posted this coment. The first 60 seconds of it had to much gayness i do not mind gay pepal but i do not want to see them naked

  • That's the problem with with having same sex sex secnes, inevitably you get most hetrosexuals complaining because they think it's gross. Which is fine - but you have to accept it's kinda inevitable with two main characters being gay. There's plenty of hetrosexual sex in following episodes so you're not missing out...

I guess I'm the only one that enjoyed that bit =)

  • as wierd as this may sound but this actually looks good and has potential.

    Keep makin' em'

  • i agree.

  • yeah right! it isn`t better than ENT

  • Better than startrek Enterpise 4 sure

  • Though I don't really feel like joining in on the phylosophical discussions. But I'd like to put in my two cents. I feel that medical technology would have decreased the likely hood of homosexuality occuring naturaly. Though moraly it would not be used to "cure" anyone. However I would like to point out that if homosexuality existed, it would be fully accepted. Try not to force our own lack of ideals, virtues and morality on this future that shows a better humanity.

  • I don't actually see the point of degaying people, nor do I see science going in that direction. If anything, I can imagine the opposite happening the way overpopulation is going these days. Not that I think that's a good thing either.

    - Homosexuality is not a mental disorder and therefore should not and cannot be cured. -

" However I would like to point out that if homosexuality existed, it would be fully accepted " - That doesn't make any sense.

However, you last line is very true.

  • Oooo I love it!!!

  • i like this so far--very interesting

  • I like this so far despite all of the sexuality. Why are the creators of this series bludgeoning the audience with that? It's forced, irritating, and distracts from the main story, which I actually think is very good to this point. On to part 3...

  • One of the main elements of the ST TAS was explore sexuality in the show, many times we could see that in many episodeos.

Also the demostration of the gay couple relationship is important into the story.

  • bowdown, u said that gays died in by the 23rd century like all the rest of humanaty´s problems like greed or hunger, I wonder if u get the real message of Gene Roddenberry at all ! A future w/out greed, hunger, and any kind ofdiscrimination.

  • ST has always had romantic tones on its shows. This is extremely tame and in keeping with the level of sexuality in any of the other STs. Is it just because one of the couples is two men that it's a problem for you?

  • I suppose that it is....sorry. If alluding to homosexuality, heterosexuality, mono-sexuality, nonsexuality, etc., is somehow imperative to the narrative at hand, then perhaps the "alluding" is OK if the act itself is left to the imagination of the viewer. This way, no one gets offended. Did you see pt3?
