Nobody disputes that Washington Square Park has been neglected. But if the Parks Department isn't up to the task of caring for the existing lawns, then is expanding them really a good idea?

Our favorite park in Downtown Knoxville Tennessee was renovated and turned into mostly sidewalks, I dont know why some believe everything must be changed and modernized?
