@GWClassof2K Depends. Uploading a video takes around 5-10 min which isn't a lot either way and also there are plenty of people dedicated to what they do even on christmas eve. For example: HDStarcraft, Huskystarcraft. Evenso there are others not related to gaming and by all means who upload videos of skating, swimming, trailers, skiing etc. So really I see no trouble in uploading one video on christmas eve, hell, I even had 10 min during that day in which my family only prepared for the evening.

-He probably wanted to make the time as fast as possible before submitting it.

Hacking could just mean certain parts were replayed to gain a time advantage on them, or to get the best lines. Hacks don't necessarily mean copying laps or infinite mushrooms. The best hackers would be undetectable except by themselves since they would know how the game works, and how to optimize the times.
